Regina felt like a true mean girl, the one that's mean just because it's highschool and stuff and later grows up out of that. However Mandy is geniuenly evil
It’s funny, cause in the epilogue of the movie they explain that Regina was mainly acting mean as an outlet for her pint up aggression; once she got into sports and was able to focus her aggression there, she mellowed out a lot. Yeah, Regina was mean and did cruel things, but she faced karma and was able to change.
One BIG thing that tells me how much better the real mean girls is from the Disney version, is the fact that fake mean girls called themselves "the plastics". Real mean girls never called themselves that, other people did. (I dont recall the plastics ever referring to themselves as that) A real bad bitch doesn't have to make up her own name for her group like she's twelve years old. Knockoff mean girls were clearly TRYING to do what Regina George did seemingly effortlessly. Regina didn't need to push people aside when she walked down the hallway. People saw her coming and they just moved. Just like she didn't need to name her squad for people to know and remember who they were.
Some things do not need sequels, it would have been better to get a prequel about Regina and Janice, how went from best friends to enemies, how both of them became mean girls on the opposite spectrum(feminine and tom boy/artsy) how Janice met Damian and they did say that at the Christmas talent show that the choreography was originally Janice's so was she also plastic like Regina and did she really change that summer after the rumor and hurt she felt from the betrayal of a friend and was she actually bald, did Regina betray her to become queen, how did Regina meet Gretchen and Karen, the hoop earrings situation, and was there a romantic undertone to Regina and Janice's relationship?
Mean girls could have been where it’s focused on the kids of the og cast and maybe have a plot with the og cast being parents dealing with plastic parents kinda like a Bad Moms like plotline. That would be really cool actually

Now that I think about it. If this was set in middle school and had actors that could pass for middle schoolers, this movie might've made more sense. Maybe..
This movie even on it's own merits without the sequel label is bad. Like, a car girl who rides a moped instead of driving herself is weird asf. Not to mention the fashion is lame as hell and the tone is way toned down like you mentioned, it's basically a glorified disney made for tv movie, but without the zing of even those. I feel Tina Fey's humour made a lot of the original but also like the more older teen/young adult tone did too. Rather than being a tween movie. I just eh. The plot and writing felt very mundane and uninspired. As if it was made just to make more money off of the brand and it's synergy/name but without actually caring if it made sense or added to the legacy.
Yea the whole movie was a dumpster fire I literally want remove from memory! Luckily it was forgettable as stated. But thanks for the video I’m going to watch real Mean Girls now!!!

Not gonna lie, the first time I saw this movie, I thought it was decent. It was interesting to see the girl from Cory in the House play a mean girl and Jennifer Stone from Wizards of Waverly Place in a more grunge(?) look and saying stuff like "bitch" but the more I come across this movie, the more I hate it and I want the girls from the first movie to come back and make things good again. Not only is this movie mind numbingly corny but it destroyed what the first movie fixed. Like what happened to girl world being at peace? I have to know, are the cast ashamed for doing this? They have to look back on it and have some regrets right? I mean who in their right mind would be looking back on this thing and be proud of it?
I watched this movie years ago having not heard the terrible reviews and about ten minutes in I forgot that I was watching Mean Girls 2 and thought I was watching a horrible low budget Disney made for tv movie

I always thought a mean girls sequel could be very good if they knew what to do with it. I love Mean Girls. One of my top 10 films of all time, but the problem I have always had with it is its lack of systemic analysis that allowed the plastics to rise. It's all about tearing down the hyper feminine people, but ignores the fact that Janis Ian is also a Mean Girl, despite not being as traditionally feminine. Janis doesn't get torn down like Regina, her revenge goes well, and she ends the intervention scene with being carried off by the crowd, mirroring the way that Regina was carried onto the film by a crowd. Why do we see feminine mean girls as femine, but Janis Ian as a revolutationary? What more can the film say about femininity? About how our society may demonise it unjustly? About how society's view of femininity can facilitate these power imbalances? There is a mean girls sequel. It's called Legally Blonde. And it answers all these questions. Just, if Legally Blonde was called Mean Girls 2, and Elle Woods was shown to be a bit of a mean girl in her past (kind of mirroring Vivian Kensington in a way ig), it could be incredible.
Tbf Mandy's reasoning for hating Abby isn't that far fetched, she hates her because despite them both being privileged, Abby is just a tiny bit more privileged than Mandy. There's that scene where Abby feeds Mandy's dog and it causes it to barf in her bag and as she apologizes she tells her she can have her bag if she wants, to make up for it. We find out that Mandy had Abby's bag pre-ordered or something and that Abby was more privileged than her and was able to get the bag early. So basically Mandy is bitter because Abby is a little bit richer and more privileged than her, even though with how rich Mandy is it doesn't really make a difference.
I fucking LOVED Mean Girls 2 when I was in fifth grade. I thought it was the epitome of cinema. Rewatched it recently after watching the first one again, and I was shocked at how garbage it was.
Oh Miss Bunny........ I could have told you, baby girl thats time you’ll never get back!! I sat through it, but don’t worry about me at three score years and four.... I can take it, you’re young... Save Yourself! And tell my family..... I ..... Love ..... Them.....😏

Now that I think about it. If this was set in middle school and had actors that could pass for middle schoolers, this movie might've made more sense. Maybe..
Idk lol I feel it was just set to be doomed regardless.
They wouldn’t be able to drive though lol
@@oooh19 maybe not seniors but underclassmen who were 16.. idk they just were so childish
This movie was definitely a cash grab but it was so horrible it failed at that as well lol. Tina Fey was definitely missed.
What is that bunny doing every second like stop let me watch the video 💀
I’m dying at the commentary. So happy I never saw this
I watched it for you 😒😂
Yea the whole movie was a dumpster fire I literally want remove from memory! Luckily it was forgettable as stated. But thanks for the video I’m going to watch real Mean Girls now!!!
You definitely need a Mean Girls cleanse after watching this for sure 😩

"The TupperWare Crew...(and every other majestic shady-term that follows)"
LMFAOOOOOO, NO YOU DIDN'T...BUT SO GLAD YOU DID!! 🤣
I’d love to see you do 10 Things I Hate About You to see how it holds up. I think there will definitely be some cringe in it, though. 🤔
You’re like the third person to request. Definitely going to do one. I haven’t seen it in awhile so it’ll be interesting to see what I take from it. Lol
@@TheBlushBunny, yesssss! I watched it a few years back and still loved it (because Heath Ledger lol!) but there were definitely some problematic themes...and that’s being generous! 🤣
Haha! Man, it’s been a few years since I’ve watched so I don’t even remember . We definitely have to talk about it when I make that video. Lol

You and me both! Like, how did I NOT learn a thing from PLL about letting my curiosity lead me into watching things....😳🤦🏾♀️
lol We can’t just let things be. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it’s a duck.
But here we come with “maybe it’s a dog”.
Self sabotage lol
@@TheBlushBunny 😂🤣😭😭
I got two minutes into the film and was like I can’t do this. I haven’t watched it and I don’t want too lmao
Was that Jennifer Stone?
Jennifer baby, what were you thinking accepting this role?
Idk why This "Sequel " Its just Giving me Im not like other girls vibes
They try so hard too 🙄
“the aluminums, the Tupperware crew, team styrofoam” IM SORRY THE NAMES GOT ME ROLLING😭😭
The plastics at home:
“The aluminums” and “the Tupperware crew” have me rolling lol
This movie was made in 20 days
Why does this not surprise me 😩
@@TheBlushBunny lol
This is my second video watching The Blush Bunny girl I think that the channel should be named However Comma, lol
Hmmm… I think you may be on to something lol
@@TheBlushBunny I'm glad to 😂😂
I watched this movie years ago having not heard the terrible reviews and about ten minutes in I forgot that I was watching Mean Girls 2 and thought I was watching a horrible low budget Disney made for tv movie
lets admit that the only good part about the movie was the principal coming back
Ariel, listen to me
The human world, it's a mess
Life under the sea
Is better than anything they got up there
The seaweed is always greener
In somebody else's lake
You dream about going up there
But that is a big mistake
Just look at the world around you
Right here on the ocean floor
Such wonderful things surround you
What more is you lookin' for?
Under the sea
Under the sea
Darling it's better
Down where it's wetter
Take it from me
Up on the shore they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away
While we devotin'
Full time to floatin'
Under the sea
Down here all the fish is happy
As off through the waves they roll
The fish on the land ain't happy
They sad 'cause they in their bowl
But fish in the bowl is lucky
They in for a worser fate
One day when the boss get hungry
Guess who's gon' be on the plate?
Oh, no, under the sea
Under the sea
Nobody beat us
Fry us and eat us
In fricassee
We what the land folks loves to cook
Under the sea we off the hook
We got no troubles
Life is the bubbles
Under the sea (under the sea)
Under the sea (under the sea)
Since life is sweet here
We got the beat here
Naturally (naturally)
Even the sturgeon and the ray
They get the urge 'n' start to play
We got the spirit
You got to hear it
Under the sea
The newt play the flute
The carp play the harp
The plaice play the bass
And they soundin' sharp
The bass play the brass
The chub play the tub
The fluke is the duke of soul
(Yeah)
The ray he can play
The lings on the strings
The trout rockin' out
The blackfish she sings
The smelt and the sprat
They know where it's at
And oh that blowfish blow
Yeah, under the sea (under the sea)
Under the sea (under the sea)
When the sardine
Begin the beguine
It's music to me (it's music to me)
What do they got? A lot of sand
We got a hot crustacean band
Each little clam here
Know how to jam here
Under the sea
Each little slug here
Cuttin' a rug here
Under the sea
Each little snail here
Know how to wail here
That's why it's hotter
Under the water
Ya we in luck here
Down in the muck here
Under the sea
Also like mean girls had such vibrant colours and this one is so dull
i remember watching this movie out of morbid curiousity and it was an hour and a half or whatever i will never get back. i still remember that movie was really trying to push the "no seggs before marriage" message too >_>
What I dont understand about this movie is why its called mean girls 2 like its a sequel. This isn't a sequel to the original its not even about the same characters like dafuq its just a bad rip off and it isnt worth to be associated with the og mean girls
I mean not worth it at all. Probably why it didn’t have a theatrical release lol
@@TheBlushBunny yeah hahahaha
I love your editing 😍
Thanks love! I struggle with editing so I appreciate that. lol
Me when I found out there was a Mean Girls 2: OH MY GOSSSSHHHH. I'm. gonna. watch. it now!!!!
Me after watching Mean Girls 2: Hello Police I had a complaint to a make.
Mean Girls 2 should of been original cast in college or being close friends drinking wine complaining about their kids
I've tried to watch this movie three times and have *never* been able to finish it. Thank you for making this lmfao.
Thank you for watching lol
when u said it was unforgettable i literally so agree, i forgot what the plot was until i saw this vidoe
“The aluminums” 😂
And I thought the movie-musical-Frankenstein was bad - the hell is *this?* What’s next, the VR experience?
offended on Regina's behalf. Wtf even was mandi bro? Like the dollar tree version or smth? Don't lie a dollar's way more than Mandis costs like wtf was that abomination
Definitely a night and day experience.
Mean girls 2 is even more digusting than any show that dan sneider has made
i remember watching this as a kid and thinking it was a fever dream
Oh Miss Bunny........ I could have told you, baby girl thats time you’ll never get back!!
I sat through it, but don’t worry about me at three score years and four.... I can take it,
you’re young... Save Yourself!
And tell my family.....
I ..... Love ..... Them.....😏
😂😂😂
I wish you had warned me. Cautionary tale for sure.
omg waittt you have to review Moxie from Netflix
I need to know your opinion on it
Haha! I have it on the list.
I haven’t watched it yet but your reaction has me interested lol
@@TheBlushBunny yessss
The walmart clearance bin version of Regina George looks like her outfits were picked out by a blind sunday school teacher
i can’t even bring myself to watch it 💀
I took one for the team lol
In the real mean girls, it’s just amazing. The 2nd one..no.
Right!
I remember I tried to watch it. I literally turned it off after like 12 minutes! It really is that awful! Last scene i remember was when they were in the lunchroom I think!
Wait is that Rebekah Mikaelson from the originals/ the vampire diaries?!
the only good thing abt this movie is that her dad is sheriff stilinski from teen wolf.
