Indurain had a good team but won all five of his Tours by going off the front and shedding people off his wheel in the last few K's of the climb. Roche was condemning people for giving Indurain any kind of help (despite Indurain's dominance and willingness to take the bit between the teeth), saying that's not what he was used to as team tactics, yet here we see Greg (Roche's generation) complaining that other teams won't ride for him. In fairness he's racing totally juiced up cyclists pioneering epo in Bugno, Indurain avd Chiapucci. Without the doping Greg would have obviously seen off Fignon and Mottet in this tour.
