  • This is just a reminder so I won't forget the basic setup.
It shows how to recreate Blender Color Management in other composition software and use it, for example, to combine tracked footage with rendered CG.

Saw your Endless engine entry, amazing job and then saw you mentioned you used Natron. Would love to see some Natron CG compositing tutorials.

Tutorials take a long time which I don't have. But if I can think of some interesting quick tips, you'll see them here first ;-)

Nice video. Quick example to get the job done! What did you use for the tracking?

Thanks. Tracking was done in Blender. No add-ons, nothing fancy. Just babysitting 8 markers through the few frames ;-)

What are the the pros and cons of natron compared to similar node based software packages?
What are the technical limitations of natron compared to fusion or Nuke?
    Thx.

      Use 32 bit channel.
      This is my fx stack.
      1.Extractor
      2. Exposure > put same exposure value in blender > tick Bypass linear
      3. Opencolorio > choose same setting in blender
      4. Exposure > put same gamma value in blender

I completely get your point, will try to work on it. But I'm already too old and tired for that. With full sincerity, feel free to take this tutorial and recreate it yourself with more enthusiasm. :)
