This is not true. I have seen the MDNA and the Sticky and Sweet in Brazil and there was no extra fees to see the rehearsal and if my mom looked that young at this age she`d be pleased.
Wish she would have at least threw us fans a bone 🍖 of live vocals during the rehearsal. I think most of us would rather hear an authentic 95% perfect performance (if she was having a good day) than a pre-fabricated 100% pure-plastic-perfect number.
I'm not saying that is wrong or right singing in playback and dancing like she did (I went to that concert in Rome altough I knew this, and i loved it anyway, cause Madonna's concerts arent' just music, but is a 360° show). I am just saying that it is strange doing a soundcheck to a song that was in playback. There were a few songs not in playback in that show... In Rebel Heart tour for example, I was surprised by the fact that no song was in playback, she just sang on a basis like she did in Sticky and Sweet Tour, yet she danced a lot!!! Anyways..long live to the queen, playback or not :)

The problem is, it is the same dopamine challenged fools you see in that before- show audience that cannot be fully entertained if the singer is just standing there singing. Why are there fast food restaurants in the USA on every corner? Because that's what people want. They don't like healthy food. Madonna gives people what they want.
You still need to have a sound check regardless. Music is sound. So they have to check and adjust the levels. They can’t risk it. And not all of it is playback. None of the guitar singing songs are playback. There are obvious parts where she is actually singing.
It's kinda SAD 😭 once she got to this point Too old to do this young stuff ?She started late ? Her first album came out when she was 25 yrs old .. I really like her .. but she's a lot older now .. that's all .. She still cool 😎

Remember that "early entry" tickets were sold really expensive just for this...You were paying for almost TWO shows of her in the same night, one rehearsal backstage like and one full set performance.

Great video, but it's not that rare... during the Sticky & Sweet tour and during the MDNA tour it was this way at almost every concert.
