I heard the testimony ~on Christian radio program~ of a man who worked with heroin addicts & @ a "half‐way" house. He said that he had seen many drug addicts be instantly healed by faith placed in Jesus Christ & faithful prayers made either by them or for them. Also he said, he had witnessed some healed addicts go back to their addiction, & come back again for help. He never saw The Lord miraculously/ instantly heal one of those men a second time.

I love this song. It inspires me, It shows how much love God has for us. How he died on the cross so we can shake off our heavy chains, all our pains, fears, and "failures" He loves us and cares for us. God said we have to stop fighting because he already won the battle for us. He made a way so that we could be saved. He made a way for us to enter Gods house someday. Because he cares, he loves each one of us, no matter who we are, no matter if someones in jail, no matter if a person did something horrible, God loves each and every one of us. He will never stop loving us. Even if other people are mean to us he will love them and he doesn't want us to be mean back he wants us to show them love and compassion. If you feel like your in the darkest, deepest place and you feel that there is no way to escape, Just know God is there and he will help you find the light and find a way out no matter what situation you are in. From gang life, drugs, and just plain out careless lifestyle i was living with really bad intentions, i can honestly say I’ve been redeemed and couldn’t be happier with the life choice i made. Change is for the better and god is helping me through it all still.
2 brothers were growing‐up in a drug/flop‐house, in a large nothern USA city~ I think either NY or Chicago. Their "mother", who was drug‐addicted & supporting them that way, had no clue (in reference to life). These young boys had been sexually molested by mommy's clients. Some Christian neighbors came to their door one day & asked mom if they could come by on Sunday morns & take her boys to church with them. They all approved, & then these 2 boys "obeyed the gospel of Jesus Christ" & "came into Christ" & continued to attend church. Yrs later, when they were about 17-18 yrs old i saw them in a published photo with their mother, and SHE had been converted also ! This is what she had to say: "Now, I AM REALLY LIVING. That other thing I was doing was NOTHING LIKE LIVING.".
