Slight Alcorn Win for me. This was a tough battle to evaluate and listen too. Alcorn kept me slightly more engaged and I felt execution/musicality was a little and I mean a little better on there side. Gsu Arrangements can get very stocatto and empty at times .
Gram won but both band bands need to work on phrasing and tonguing them notes 🥴… heard a few screeching here and there! However, they “Come and Talk to me” was nice Gram 👌🏾💯 Alcorn please double time in Tuba sectionals because y’all need major work!
I glad to see these young go to college and showcase their talents, but this must was the battle of who can be the loudest cause neither band sounded that good and arrangements sucked
