- First with a Tubescreamer808, then with a Fuzz Face, then just guitar.
Tubescreamer is an Analogman Modified 808. Fuzz is a Jam Pedals Fuzz Phrase. Amp is a Dr. Z Maz 18 combo.Guitar is a Nash Strat
I like how you play short passages that truly accentuate the wah. Where others play long mindless garbage and have no idea how to work a wah. That RMC10 sounds totally killer.
RMC 10 Wah vs Jam Wahcko+
What is your opinion? Which sounds better?
Thanks!
This explains why I have so many Teese wahs. 🤦♂️🤙
Thanks for the great video, both of them sound great, hard to choose
Jackroy Lee I always end up using the "10"
I just ordered the "8", they all sounds great, but I prefer slow sweep
Excellent video Mike! Thanks for sharing! I recently had to make the decision over which of these two awesome wah pedals to buy, both were outstanding! To me the RMC4 Picture Wah felt like it had a more gradual taper to it with a distinct midrange emphasis, whereas the RMC10 was a lot faster in its sweep and had a lot more to offer in its higher frequencies, ideal for those classic White Room/Voodoo Child fast wah lines. I ended up buying the RMC4 as I felt it sat better with the kind of stuff I play at present, but in an ideal world I'd have both haha! Great pedals! Thanks again for the great vid!
+Christopher Miller Cant go wrong with either. I use the 10 on all my gigs... The picture is so good though. Hard to choose.
+Mike Hermans The 10 honestly sounds incredible, especially with your playing! I've spotted a pre-loved one appear in a store near me, very tempted to pick it up also! They're honestly both such great pedals! Thanks again! :D
Man they both sound great... The 4 with that smooth focused midrange and the 10 with the wider freq band. I think I'll start with the 10...
10 has more full range WAUWAH sounds that go further into the high end. 4 has that mid range kick. Both sound spectacular
Whats really impressive s how good both sounds with a fuzz!
Sweet playing man!! Does the RMC4 have the low end resonance or the italia setting toggled on?
Friend I have the picture I wanted to ask you if you configured two internal controls that it has inside, I do not know if to move them I am afraid that they will be ruined haha I do not know if you can, could you help me thanks, since there are no manuals anywhere and on the page it almost does not appear Nothing of that. Thank you
Cool Comparison. They are Both Great Sounding Wah Pedals. Based upon this Video, I prefered the RMC 4. I thought the RMC 10 was a Little Harsh, and somewhat " Ice Picky " in the Toe-down position. The other pedal had a Smoother Wah Sound ( throughout the entire sweep range ) - to my ears. - Michael Caz - NYC -
agreed but some prefer it that way
They sound both so similar, nearly the same. So it doesn't matter which you choose.
fuck man they both sound great
I thought the Teese wahs always were said to not work in front of a fuzz? These sound great with a fuzz though, what am I missing..?
The complete opposite. They have a FoxRox fuzz friendly buffer in them.
great demo! How does the RMC10 like humbuckers?
Sounds awesome with humbucker
I feel like the 10 has a smoother sweep. Both great though!!
10 is more focused and seems to have more usable tones throughout it's sweep
Mm tough to choose. I'm really after that Shaft style 70s porn soundtrack wah sound which RMC would work best for this?
Get a Fulltone Clyde Deluxe
Michael Caz None of Mike’s (Fulltone) products are comparable to his competitor’s. But, even though he’s revised the Deja-Vibe too many times to count, it’s still a “100% accurate clone of a Uni-Vibe.” Ironically, none of them sound like a real Uni-Vibe. I have the same opinion about his wah’s. They suck! But, in his defense, my original TTE is the best delay I own.
thanks for this
really interested in getting the rmc10
Stephen Chow I still have both.hard to choose
like the 10 much better!
Still on the fence. They're both really good
Mike Hermans Mike have you tried any of the Wilson Effects vintage wahs? Im gonna pull the trigger on the rmc10 or a Wilson signature vintage
Awesome!!!
Thanks!
Picture is better for me. I ´ve got it seven years. 😎 🎸
Friend I wanted to ask you if you configured two internal controls that it has inside, I do not know if to move them I am afraid that they will be ruined haha I do not know if it can, could you help me thanks
@@jessedavidcarrera5632 try to get the manual online for this. I think it is possible. i have this and actually want to reset the saved memory sounds to all the same clean sound. i get my dirty sounds from my gain pedals. i find i accidently heel pressure too much and that goes through the memory saved sounds when i don't want to. goodluck
Actually, upon reading your message again, I don't know what you are talking about! ha ha. I'm not messing with the internals of the wah...
Question for you why do they call it a picture wha?
Decent demo...kind of wish the overdriven tone wasn't so saturated. Based on this demo, the RMC 4 sounds a lot more vocal and has more of that sweet spot dialed in. You can't go wrong with Teese!
RMC4 is better all around
Get the Xotic XW-1.. but get all the RMC's too!
LuckyLicks Cant wait to try the new Xotic wah!
Mike Hermans You just know-that-you-know it's gonna be such a killer wah that won't let you down. :)
