Hey boss, I have the same dozer and I am trying to get my clutch cover off the left side, pulled all the bolds to the cover and all attachments up top. My question is how do I get the cover to come off! It will only lift about an inch and a half.
Make sure it’s the right oil in it, the wrong kind can make it slip. Also check & make sure the clutch cable is adjusted correctly. If it’s to tight it’ll engage even when you let of the clutch
Yeah I find it funny on them little Dozer I've got one of them it's always the right side that has more Rustin have it done to the brake band and steering clutches than the left side I don't know if they somehow they've got something machine wrong or moisture gets in there or what but I'm putting new brake bands on mine and steering clutches right now and my right side had caught Havoc something fierce same where yours was

Do you still have the shop manual? I’d pay for pictures of the whole process on how to change the breaks and clutches
