      @@michaelvescovo yup, tho In article were plans to have one trip about every 1-2 years, so Id guess same crew would be there at least for that time + return trip would take with current SN9 rocket tech 6months or more ? so theyd be there at least 6months straight.... it would be astronomically expensive to make it very short stay, not feasible, sensible. So in 6months in that hostile environment all kinds of not nice things can happen, even if initial landing and construction is well thought of. This is based on what info I have of current tech and situation of space travel. 6months is not that bad, but combined with 6months travel + 6months stay + 6months back is huge burden for human body, considering how long usual ISS stays are. Perhaps next gen propulsion can change these "parameters" somehow.

    About collision avoidence maneouvers: my understanding is the following: satellites in low Earth orbit need to boost themselves back up regularly, but there is some leeway as to *when* that boost is applied. By either delaying a boost or moving up in time the satelite operators can ensure that the satelite is not at the same altitude as some known piece of space debris, when it's looking like the satelite and the debris are moving such they will come close to interception. That is, the collision avoidance does nto require additional propellent; the collision avoidance can be absorbed in the regular altitude boosts.

These guys and gals are dwindling in numbers and it would be wonderful to have you of all people give a really in depth to these participants of history, science and engineering.

    What Natalya Bailey spoke about business start-up is so true. Make sure the vision will get you out of bed in the morning. Start-ups are very difficult and just being opportunistic isn't going to make you go through all the hardles that awaits you. You'll have to conduct a lot of projects which comes along with failed experiments, and from those mistakes, you'll learn more and come up with new ways to improve your product that can survive in the business environment.

    Lex, If you ever notice odd pattern with this video one thing i will share with ya, I listen to this as a pass out at night, I open another youtube tab and play one of those sounds to sleep to videos ( this one is a spaceship humming as i soar through space, I play them at the same time, I used to be a video editor untill everyone and they're uncle became one and creative storytelling wasn't required anymore, so i could edit this as one movie and play it like that but i like to give you the add money(: so maybe 3 or 4 nights a week i'll go asleep to the spaceship and Natalya talking about rocket science, it's magical, my mind travels, i'm seriously not even here anymore. Peace out.

      @@garethmorgan3665 Bah, unless he was close by and the jealous/extremely violent type, my boyfriend means nothing. In fact many women use that as a shit test, and you apparently failed. It is not like she was married with kids, that would be different. However, if you cannot get past the mere mention of another man, you are not worthy. Hint, that is the test.
      Next time that happens ignore it and ask her out, if she says "but what about my boy friend?" just say he is not invited. You would be surprised how often that works, and how many happily married couples were dating other people when they met. You just cannot give up to easily, no women wants that. I am not suggesting to be a psychopath about it either, just keep it light while not being deterred, if that makes sense.

      @@ericmichel3857 You could have a point my man but to tell the truth I was slightly exaggerating for comic effect. In fact, the particular case I was thinking about she did turn out to have a boyfriend and I ended up visiting them in Israel when she moved out there to live with him.Cool guy. I'm sure some woman do this but I can't be arsed with people who play games so I personally do't feel I've ever lost anything.

      @ericmichel3857 3 года назад

      @@garethmorgan3665 Wow, so you went and watched her being happy with some other guy? Yikes.
      It is not a game, it is how they get to know you, and whether you realize it or not everyone does this in one way or another. It is a way of seeing how you handle adversity. They themselves may not even be consciously aware of what they are doing. All they know is based on how you respond dictates how they will feel about you. Whether or not she actually had a boyfriend, or if he is a nice guy or not, is irrelevant. He wasn't your friend, and boy friends come and go all the time. You are a good guy too right? When did standing up to adversity and going after what you want become a bad thing? No wonder this world is the way it is today.
      If she was deeply committed your advances would not have worked, but no one would blame you for trying. As long as you did it in a light, playful, respectful way, at the very least she would be flattered, and if things did not work out down the road....However, by backing down and not even trying at the first sign of adversity, you told her that you were someone not even worth considering in a romantic way. Those stories of the "nice guys" getting the girl are complete nonsense. Be a good man, not a nice guy.
      The only women a nice guy ends up with (if any) is one where she feels like she needs to settle. That is not the relationship anyone should want, it causes resentment and the first opportunity they see for something better and...
      But hey, if you are fine just being "friends" and watching women you are attracted to go off with other men, by all means stick with your current strategy. You might be alone watching other men with your dream girl, but at least you will have the moral high ground. Just something to think about.
