Oh YES you most certainly can!! I make it all the time in my apartment. And believe me when I say, our fire alarms are very sensitive. Bacon is almost never eaten here in my building. But Cantonese chicken chow mein is a huge winner in my apartment. And I manage to do it on an electric stove top to boot!!

Love your food! Be careful not to use olive oil at very high temperature, it actually has a low smoke point and can give an off flavor in your finished dish. It’s much better to use peanut oil, it has a high smoke point and a wonderful end flavor.

Olive oil has a low smoke point especially extra virgin olive oil and is high in calories. A better choice would be peanut oil or veg oil. However it does look pretty good.

Dude. I can w my Samsung glass rapid boil burner. OMG. Litterally cant keep up w it.. gets way too hot way too fast... legit! But def miss that flavor of outside cooking. Cant do that sadly.
@@zainabm3 even heat throughout the entire surface of the wok as opposed to just the bottom portion, allows for a more even cook. prevents the chicken from the "boiling" that you would typically get cooking overcrowded chicken in a pan the same size on the stove. im sure there are other reasons that have to do with flavor development over high heat and other things but im no expert lol
