Disney announced their park announcements for WDW. In my opinion, Epic Universe is the reason we're finally getting a villains land (to combat dark universe) and monstropolis (to combat ministry of magic) Sucks it took Universal's success to make Disney move again. I can't wait for Epic Universe
This looks like it's coming along great. Makes me wonder if they're gonna have an Epic Universe VIP Experience Tour like what they do across the other parks.
It truly is an epic level of theming going into this park, from lining up the fireworks to appear behind the grand helios, to releasing an flying aligator with wings in Florida, they spared no expense.
Another enticing update in the history books. It seems like yesterday when the first trees were added and the Berk statues got painted. The next blink of an eye till we can go into the park will feel like a lifetime.
My mouth dropped seeing the dragon drone footage on your last video. It still blows me away after multiple viewings. It's one of the coolest things they could've done and I'm so glad they stuck with it.

I literally try to count down my estimate of how many days it is until the next Theme Park Stop update drops each time a new one comes out. It's so interesting to be able to see a theme park come together!
Battle yes, but did they win the war? This loss is pretty significant. I don’t know if Disney can turn itself around in our generation. Many Disney adults have had it, and if gen Z and Alpha don’t end up looking fondly at their childhood memories when their parents took them, they won’t win. That’s what that Universal Kids Resort is truly about. Getting Gen Alpha to one day grow up to become the Universal equivalent of a Disney Adult.

Universal is setting a new standard. I love how what we see matches the concept art (hear that Disney?). The only two misses that I can see is not having a city walk with boats (instead of the two ugly hotels) and not having a full-scale Peach's castle. It could have easily competed with Cinderella's castle.
The night view from the hotel is going to be something spectacular. I hope one day I can afford a room I think I’d stay up all night next to the window.
Quick question Alicia - do tne fireworks going off from behind Helios mean the theme park view rooms won't have a firework view? Seems like Uni found a way to monetize both sides of the hotel here, theme park view or fireworks view 😂😍

I keep thinking back to the first one of your shows- there were foundation pads for several of the show buildings, and lots of dirt. Just dirt. Half of the show involved going over drawings because there was so little to see on the ground- yet. This is Very exciting. I am a scenic carpenter and a bit of a scenic painter, this work they are doing is amazing!

Simply no better source for putting everything related to Universal Epic together. I have also noticed that Universal is now offering an additional three months if you renew your annual pass. I bet they were seeing a delay in renewals until an opening date was announced. I have decided not to play games with my AP and to continue it uninterrupted. I am hoping that current passholders will get special invites to soft opening weekends.

Thanks for the updates on the road construction. It is amazing how long roads take to build. We have 3 big road projects going on in my area. The two smaller projects are going to take 2.5 years to complete and the big one is scheduled to take 3.5 years. I hope the Florida road builders are faster than Indiana's are. And the Dragon Drone is AMAZING.
Kinda cool to SEE the whole Park from the Sky Point of view...YOu can really SEE how dark the "Dark Universe" vs. all the other lands are Bright and colorful...haha

Hopefully you see this !!!! I know a while back you mentioned who was building the rides in epix and I’m almost certain in the D23 podcast show that same company is doing Disney rides. The company that done epix was from near Allentown PA. I however can’t fine that video but I’m still looking. In the mean time do you remember? Or do you know the trucking companies that been bring in the rides? That’s something as a truck driver would LOVE to do transport the entertainment to the parks. A few years back I contacted Disney of over the road driving for them and they said I’d need to live near LA or Orlando to be able to do the Fl-Ca transport or the DOI.
I am excited to hear about building progress for Disney's newly announced lands since for the Villains land, they've already said they've started working! I love these videos, thank you!!

Honestly, the only real "miss" for me is them not finding a way to connect the existing Universal Resort with Epic Universe via Knight Bus.
Its nice that Doc has has more time to build his models to scale, and paint them.

Correct. Guests can take advantage of the viewing area on the top floor of the hotel for fireworks.
