I love how honest Chris has gotten. Not just about his life but also about what happened a couple years back. It’s really helped me out in my own ways.
That story about the other comic is proof that something meaningless and funny to one person can be really hurtful to someone else. And the fact that he didn't remember it shows just how little kicking you while you were down meant to him at the time. Either that, or he really does remember and was just running away from accountability. Sadly, both possibilities are so common these days. But kudos to you Chris for talking about it with him the way that you did. Therapy really does open so many previously unseen doors.
Did we not just watch the same episode? Chris spent the majority of it shitting on Rick Ross. Idc about Rick Ross, and I'm a big fan of Chris, but that's often comedy. Shitting on one person for the entertainment of others.....
Holy shit this is the best episode of this podcast, ever. I am so proud of Chris, and the insight he has. Really fucking inspiring. Life fucking Rips 💪
My dad always tells me ‘it all comes out in the wash’ sadly it took you being at your lowest to realize who your true friends are. But it’s kind of a blessing bc now you know who to give your time to, and who not. Your real friends and fans will stick by you! 💘🙏
I'm a truck driver and listening to this podcast while working makes me wonder if people on the road watch me laughing like a mad man and think who let the mental patient drive🙂
You’ve helped a lot of people with this podcast, personally helped me through some of the darkest moments in my life. Not just your comedy, but your humanity. I know “life rips” are just a couple of words but you and what there is behind those words has done a lot for us. Church bruh.
I enjoyed your story about confronting the comic who hurt your feelings. I'm glad you thought it through and handled it the way you did. Kudos to you Chris! 👏
Been a huge fan from the beginning w Everything, id say also when chris sheds a little bit of stuff from therapy and how to deal with things ,i can relate to alot of it and it helps to just hear someone else shed some light on certain emotions and the right way to deal with conflict becsuse i find myself dealing with similar settings ,so much love bruh as always ,your great dude dont change.
I know Chris is usually Johnny’s always right, but when Rick Ross says “That’s yours!!” He’s obviously saying that to the cow, like this land is your new home. It’s ok to be wrong sometimes. ily
My grandpa went blind for around the last 6 years of his life but would still drive around his hometown because he said he had memorized the roads. But did you memorize the traffic? RIP
You're never talking bout your boy Calvin too much, Chris. Being a pops is the best light you have been in. You're helping me through a divorce in which I had to leave the home I shared with my 8 year old son and 3 year old baby girl. Thanks for helping me to smile a bit today man.
This is one of my favorite podcast! I’ve listened to all of your podcast and I love your humor but I love when you talk about your family and the love you have for them especially Calvin. I know you’ve gone through a lot and I’m so glad your back 👏🏼
What a fkn difference with Chris's demeanor , since all the BS happened ( Essentially living the vida loca) , I feel like now that he is getting back out there on tour he seems much more relaxed and himself . Super happy to see that . Those fkrs will take it if you let them .

Much love man, love when you see the real side of your favorite comedians. Chris is a beautiful person, from what I see. Especially with how he talks about his son. Thought it was awesome but I saw a podcast with Bobby Lee and Theo Von and heard those two talk about him and they never said an ill Word on D'Elia. It's hard enough to find true friends in the outside world but I couldn't imagine it in comedy, and honestly I was just frustrated that D'Elia went away. But he had to for himself. That first podcast by was one of the realest things I ever heard, I'm glad he did now because now he's stronger than ever. Keep it coming Chris, the future's too bright I don't know why you don't have sunglasses
I was listening to an old this past weekend and Andrew Schultz was baiting Theo to talk shit about humble Chris and Theo never took the bait. He was very diplomatic but never talked shit.
Thank you Chris for continuing to do what you do. I’ve been struggling with family issues lately and it’s been really tough, but watching this, I laughed for the first time in a while. Thank you 🙏🏼
31:00 man hearing you change the way you were going to approach that guy. That is hard to do, especially when you're angry. Much love. Cant wait for the merch to arrive at my criboo

I wish i had taken the route you took with telling someone that they hurt you. I’ve admittedly taken the wrong route in the past and unfortunately the situations got worse than they needed to be. Still to this day feel sorry and guilt over how those situations happened. You speaking of how you’re healing since those situations is exactly how i’m feeling now. It’s so nice to know i’m not alone. Sorry you went through what you did. Seriously, just saw you at the laugh factory in December and have been laughing at your sets since. Just found your podcast and am over the moon, i get to hear more of your commentary. Such a great podcast. Please never give up!!
I am so proud of you and your personal growth. This episode made me really emotional and helped serve as a check on me and where I want to go in life. Keep on ripping, Chris. Hope to see you in Seattle real soon.
