Appreciate it homie! Was a fun day out. I am keen to see what you put together next too.
Stay low!
best trend..
Australia is building some dope lows! Let me ask a question, on a 20" what size crank should I run with a extended crown on bent forks so I can still pedal riding low?
Hey Michael, I think a 3 inch crank should provide clearance. It can be hard work on long rides through if the ratios aren't kind. This is where you can get them in Australia, not sure outside of Aus: www.saintside.com/products/crank-set-one-piece-3-chrome
Thanks!
@@jdkmedia3777 yea I can get them from topslowrider.com. I built a bike around '94-'95 and always rode with the spring out and rarely scraped unless leaning and meaning to drag the pedals lol. But it's been so long ago and I've been out of the low bike scene for so long I cant remember what size crank I was running. I was thinking about maybe a 3 1/2 crank. You think that 1/2" extra would still be ok? Or should I just go with a 4" crank and just use the extended crown for show. I've never rode a bike with the extended crown. I'm having body work and custom paint done to my frame at the moment so it kinda makes me nervous to want to ride it with extended crown. I'm just kinda lost at the moment and dont know what route to take. And no one around me or my friends are into lowrider bikes so I have no one to talk to about it. Lmao. Life is being lifey 😂
That trike. Can I see how crank was relocated up front?
Hello Josh, it is a separate crank welded on the bottom of the tube in the frame. Message me on instagram (@jdkmediaaus) and I can send you more pictures.
Thanks for the support!
