ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Margot and I am a professional artist and graphic designer. My parents like to joke that I was born with a paintbrush in hand. I started my career after graduating from the renown Parsons School of Design in New York City and spent over 15 years creating and designing for many of the world's top Fortune 500 brands and companies. My painting journey started as a side project and a creative outlet for me to step away from the computer, go back to my "roots" in fine art and to hone my skills as an illustrator and painter. I started posting some of my work on instagram and the rest is history. My work is inspired by all the things that I am passionate about. Ballet, travel, graphic design, color and finding a world of beauty in all facets of everyday life. I hope you’ll join me in this RUclips journey as I take you through all the tips, tricks and trade secrets I’ve gathered throughout the years. I hope I can teach you some of what I know, help you discover your creative voice and I hope you enjoy this Channel!

I love the idea of keeping your papers organized by type and by size in a basket container. I have a faux leather magazine holder that I feel would be perfect for this. Much better than the zipper portfolio I keep my papers and journals in now. You know the old saying, ‘out of sight out, out of mind’..I always forget what I have and purchase the same pad or journal again. With the container beside my art table I merely have to reach down and find the paper I need. Thank you 😊🎨👩🎨🇨🇦🤗
Glad I could help Carole! And yes, the more readily available they are the more likely you are to reach for it! Seems so obvious but sometimes we forget!
Love your up-cycle process! I am a big thrift store shopper so I do the same with just a little more expense.
The Coloured cap tip is a game changer thanks so much
such a helpful video😊💕I love the presentation of your channel . It's so elegant and professional. I really liked the idea of cutting up cereal boxes for organizing the gouache colors.
Thank you Rija! So glad you enjoyed it and hope you'll try it out with your empty cereal boxes ;)
Such great ideas. I borrow and reuse containers for many other things. Especially Apple boxes - they are great. Now I need to do the same for my art supplies. Thank you!
Thank you! I'm all for recycling and finding a way to repurpose things I have lying around (especially if it helps keep me extra organized ;)

I like the "I think you called it Cady!" sorry English is not my mother language.
I'm more of an acrylic and markers and ink pens kind of artist.
So do you think organizing the acrylics the same way you organize your gouache is a good idea? or should I use another method?
😊👍🍀
