That bounty hunter and Rex and R2 arc sound amazing. Whether or not it is actually canon or shows up in anything, Boba getting the dent in his helmet from Cad Bane is now head canon for me.
Oh, I really liked Echo. And I had also loved the episodes about Ahsoka. But the 'Siege of Mandalore' would have been the most amazing. Edit: #CLONEWARSSAVED :'D

It was definitely implied in his actions, but I still would have wanted to see at least one scene where he actively talks about it and lets out his frustration and pain. This arc did that fantastically and it's such a shame that it was cut.
well, rebels was a big success, the new movies where HUGE and the writing and sometimes the voice and some rough animation for the missing episodes has been done. so I wouldn't be suprised if they went back to finish these seasons (probably not in the next 2 years, since disney is pretty much on an "after sequel trilogy" streak)
ikbenmaaten I got a notification while watching Clone Wars on Netflix yesterday that on June 7th it is being removed. Maybe licensing, maybe loss of profit, etc... However, maybe to work on the unfinished reels and then put the clone wars back up?
Corlan Blyskal I personally wouldn't count on Season 7 do to a lot of legal red tape and stuff, but I think that for it's smaller budget, and admittedly somewhat watering down, Rebels is living up fairly well to Clone Wars. I have one friend who hates Rebels with a passion, but Disney is releasing cool book content for diehard fans of CW.
I think at least that Lucasfilm should finish this series. It was so great, it showed how Anakin was getting disappointed with the jedi and more elements that allowed him turn to the dark side, but I think it wasn't enough due to its cancellation. They must, in all ways possible, expand this great universe that SW is. It showed the all the consequences that the clone wars caused, the state of the galaxy, so many characters and situations, and to think and see that unfinished and incomplete breaks my soul. Some people may say that now we have the comics, novels that cover that. Do you know how many people read those things? Compared with TV viewers is really low. It MUST return, many things can still be told, even those small things, like the Clone bar on Coruscant for example. Big things and also small things that expands this beautiful universe and makes it even greater.
If it returned, it wouldn't return the way people expected it. The animation would become the one rebels' got, because the clone wars animation was a really expensive and realistic method.
I wish they would of released the last two seasons on Netflix, instead of the four lost episode thing they did. If they are able to get permission from Disney, I think they should finish our the series on Netflix since most episodes were in rough animation or they were about to make the animations for them. This would make the series more complete, because the lost episodes didn't do anything for me, I still feel like there is something missing.
Damian Kilsby they don't the broadcast rights and the models are owned by CN. Not to mention that TCW could cost over a million dollars just for one episode. Disney can't afford to both purchase all of the stuff and animate it.
Like what cartoon neckwork and disney like to do is because of payment they have to get rid of there best shows like with samaruri jack and they cut and pokomon short (im in england) also like with gravity falls i do know of the fact it did end but come on we need more seasons well anyway they wont be bringing it back any tome sooner
Samurai Jack what you said didn't make any sense. Yes SJ was cancelled but it came back for a final season, & Gravity Falls ended because the creator wanted it that way
Darthknuxward a million per editor would hardly dent Disney's wallet especially with how much money they earn per year from the star wars property alone
Mick Wait what? No. You misunderstand. I DO like the 2003 series, but I like the 2008 series better. What I meant was, some fans of the 2003 series are always going on and on about how the 2003 series is better, In my opinion, the 08 series was better. That's what I meant.
Seriously please Disney and Lucasfilm it's possible but when you finish Rebels please finish these episodes just please I know there's legal problems with CN but c'mon please
Vanity Legend They could at least continue with Clone Wars Legacy, but they stopped that when they showed Bad Batch back in 2015. Come on guys, we want to see the rest of these arcs
Disney actually proposed to finish the series but WarnerBros refused to give them the character animations, which are by far one of the most expensive aspects of the series, not to mention they would have to be recreated from scratch without it being necessary.
Man, how great was it to watch the series as whole over the last year and a half (why yes, I was quite late to the party), with some of these arcs completed in Season 7. With that said, however, I am disappointed that Dave Filoni and company didn't use the opportunity that the seventh season provided to finish the "Bounty Hunters", "Crystal Crisis", "Dark Disciple" and "Son of Dathomir" arcs. Yes, the latter two were released as a book and comic series, but there were previous cases where episodes had comic counterparts and I don't see why they can't co-exist. These seem like very interesting stories that deserved to be told in animated form in the context of the rest of the series.
Yeah, it was very unfortunate. If they could do it, maybe it'll be brought back in some kind of material. But if you ask me, these lost episodes should be titled "Star Wars: The Clone Wars - The Lost Missions 2." This is to fill in the gaps between Season 6 and Season 7.
Sadly not everything will be animated but at least we are getting the bad batch arc and the siege of mandalore. I heard that apparently the utapau arc isint being reanimated which is a missed opportunity in my opinion
Season 7 and 8 would have been amazing with these arcs. I'm thankful we got a definitive final season on Disney+ but it seems Dave Filoni had some incredible ideas we never got to see fully animated.
Cade bane and durge need to be villains in an obi wan movie after finding out he's a Jedi want to collect on his bounty , that or imperial captain Cody or admiral Cody with two inquisters .
Star Wars Clone Wars Season 7 has arcs for The Bad Batch, Ahsoka's time in the lower levels of Coruscant along with some spice smuggling, and the Siege of Mandalore. It's nice to know that some of the arcs that got cut eventually got fleshed out with full animation.
Matt Smith I honestly think they should just end it with 8 seasons, The siege of Mangalore being the last episode from it. I don't see why 11 seasons to explain a 3 years way makes any sense, 8 seasons is already a lot of continuity.
Because those 3 years are the most significant of the franchise, it shapes the framework for every single Star Wars movie, not to mention it doesn't necessarily have to feel 'packed' as they have proven their ability to bring enough variety between arcs for it to remain interesting.
I feel like I’m in the minority when it comes to my feelings on Rebels. I don’t hate the series at all, I liked it. Clone Wars is still indisputably better, but Revels isn’t as shitty as it’s made out to be.
Yeah, I agree, but you can tell it's aimed at a younger audience. But they're stopping Rebels now to do some crappy animated series about the First Order. Wtf who would want that?
Blackout043 Rebels is not stopping. The story is now almost finished. They have to finish things before episode IV since the ghost crew doesn't appear in the OT. The purpose of this show was to show the origin of the rebel alliance.
Well Maybe Warner has a part for this but look at that "It sounds like the mature themes of The Clone Wars may have been a bit much for what Disney would be willing to air on their own networks, but did not want to continue creating content to be aired on a competing network". Disney owns Star Wars Licence, so it means sense right !?
Spartiateism The only thing I feel we can blame Disney for is buying Star Wars itself, seeing as CN didn't want to let the show move to DisneyXD. If Disney didn't want Clone Wars, why would they essentially turn Rebels into a CW Sequel Series?
Even though we got a kickass final arc, TCW still isn't complete. I'd still like to see the smuggler arc even though it got replaced with the Martez sister arc. They can coexist. I can't sleep knowing that we're not getting a season 8.
Question for the Q&A : do you think that after rebels season 4 we could see the final seasons of the clone wars? considering a lot of the animation work is mostly done, I think this could be a way to have an animated show on TV and it gives them time to work on the next animated series so we don't get a rushed series or a long break. I'd love to know your thoughts on this.
Actually the 8 unfinished episodes would have been part of season 6. In the lost missions there were 13 episodes then there would have been the 8 legacy episodes to make a season, 21 episodes. After that season 7 would start.
Man, some of these were completely identical. Like shot by shot, even camera movements and of course storywise were the same. I really hope we get to see in The Bad Batch, Cad Bane and Boba Fett's arc tied in someway in the Empire context. The Bad Batch actually might have a lot of these arcs in it, I hope so. My guess is that the Kashyyk Arc, is gonna be 100% in The Bad Batch series because the group stars in that arc so it makes sense.
The original unfinished Clone Wars episodes sound awesome. I wish Disney didn’t delete the Legends canon, and try to make their own canon (which just retreads and rehashes the Original Trilogy).
Disney should bring Back The Clone Wars after Rebels ends! They could release all the new episodes in a complete series box set on Blu Ray/DVD & they would make lots of money from sales.
What ever happened to 1313? It's in development limbo because production stopped after Disney bought Star Wars, but was never officially cancelled. I'm upset that it didn't ever get finished.
The Last Jedi easter eggs -Yuuzhan Vong -Darth Vitiate force illusions like Skywalker did from far reaches of the galaxy -KoTOR 1 & 2 Force bonds -Darth Revan -Exar Kun
Dude I had no idea that there 4 episodes from the canceled season 7. Dude God bless your soul. I dont deserve this video but you deserve my view. Gonna watch these later on. Liked and shared
Shame Disney made only a season 7 not 7 and 8, also a shame that they made it only 12, really what we've got at the moment is like 6 seasons, rather than 7 cause season's 6 and 7 are half length. Also I remember hearing a rumour (possibly just nonsense) that Delta squad would have made another appearance had the show not been cancelled (though I can't remember where I heard it).
IF Disney ever did? Oh, I could just see it now: "Disney reported today it will be bringing back "Star Wars: The Clone Wars", the highly-successful series aired by Cartoon Network. It's also rumored that the original Season 7 and 8 episodes will be newly re-edited by Rian Johnson & Kathleen Kennedy."

NickTheAlpha nope, it needs the siege of Corasaunt and Grevious capturing Palpatine. Either that or Clone Wars (2003-5) is the only canon.
actually i would have loved if the yuzong vong episode would become the last one. put some nightmares in them young star wars fans.
Barry Bend that would make no sense. It would have to go all the way through the original trilogy timeline and after the new republic was formed

well, rebels was a big success, the new movies where HUGE and the writing and sometimes the voice and some rough animation for the missing episodes has been done. so I wouldn't be suprised if they went back to finish these seasons (probably not in the next 2 years, since disney is pretty much on an "after sequel trilogy" streak)
ikbenmaaten I got a notification while watching Clone Wars on Netflix yesterday that on June 7th it is being removed.
Lucas Cabrera >Do you know how many people read those things
Not a lot because people have short attention spans.
Alex Greaney well that's a point in favour too
If it returned, it wouldn't return the way people expected it. The animation would become the one rebels' got, because the clone wars animation was a really expensive and realistic method.
John Silver True.
I loved TCW's animation, especially Ahsoka.
John Silver perhaps, but they should spend more budget than with rebels

Disney +: Yeet
You got it
@@robm8766 *Commander Rex, the time has come. Execute Order 66.*
YES! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE ARCS!
All these arcs sound great. I honestly wish they had been finished. Now, while i love Rebels, These would have been awesome.
Ozzyorcborne1 I hate rebel’s it’s so kid friendly and they can’t even show deaths. I miss twc so much
any thing the war clones
I wish they would of released the last two seasons on Netflix, instead of the four lost episode thing they did. If they are able to get permission from Disney, I think they should finish our the series on Netflix since most episodes were in rough animation or they were about to make the animations for them. This would make the series more complete, because the lost episodes didn't do anything for me, I still feel like there is something missing.
If Cartoon Network, Lucas Films, and Disney are able to make a compromise and finish out the series and Netflix on board it will be amazing!!
Dude, Disney is doing a streaming service on their own! It's coming soon! We will get everything we wanted!
It's funny watching this in 2020 after seeing season 7. I really wish we would've got to have seen all of these though
So since rebels is ending, why can't they do seasons 7 & 8 of TCW? Does Disney not have the rights to it or something?
Damian Kilsby they don't the broadcast rights and the models are owned by CN. Not to mention that TCW could cost over a million dollars just for one episode. Disney can't afford to both purchase all of the stuff and animate it.
Like what cartoon neckwork and disney like to do is because of payment they have to get rid of there best shows like with samaruri jack and they cut and pokomon short (im in england) also like with gravity falls i do know of the fact it did end but come on we need more seasons well anyway they wont be bringing it back any tome sooner
Samurai Jack what you said didn't make any sense. Yes SJ was cancelled but it came back for a final season, & Gravity Falls ended because the creator wanted it that way
Darthknuxward a million per editor would hardly dent Disney's wallet especially with how much money they earn per year from the star wars property alone
they cant afford a million dollars but they can buy the entire franchise for $2 billion?
These episodes are 100x better than any other rebel episode
Even the animation was better
I'm from the future, and yes the Siege of Mandalore is real
So interesting info. That's exactly what you want to hear.

WHY, DISNEY, WHY did you not include this pure gold content in the clone wars! You literally have infinite money!
I'd really like to know why 57 people have disliked this video lol
Hayden Fleming now 100
Maybe they genuinely don't like these ideas. Can't fault them for having their own opinions. Or maybe they're really just haters, idk.
Hayden Fleming Their fans of the 2003 series. They can be SO annoying.
lol lol lol lol lol lol Were you not a fan of the 03 series?
Mick Wait what? No. You misunderstand. I DO like the 2003 series, but I like the 2008 series better. What I meant was, some fans of the 2003 series are always going on and on about how the 2003 series is better, In my opinion, the 08 series was better. That's what I meant.
would be better than most of the rebels episodes
**ALL
Coming back after TCW finale is surreal. Back when this was released, I would've never thought we were actually gonna see another season
Seriously please Disney and Lucasfilm it's possible but when you finish Rebels please finish these episodes just please I know there's legal problems with CN but c'mon please
i agree
Vanity Legend They could at least continue with Clone Wars Legacy, but they stopped that when they showed Bad Batch back in 2015. Come on guys, we want to see the rest of these arcs
Vanity Legend couldn't Igor just offer a large sum of money and just buy the rights from CN? or just purchase CN outright.
Quaynoid yup
They don't have budget problems as they had at the beginning, i don't get it why they don't finish the series!
"Level 1313"
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Daily reminder:
We mayby got the bad batch arc but we propably Lost the crystal arc to those Martinez Sisters
So no ones gonna notice how 1313 was mentioned? Ok then...
I guess the character that was supposed to be in it would be Ahsoka's level 1313 "friend"
AsHalt Yeah probably
The cancelled video game? hehehe
Miguel Sensacion Yeah
Elijah Williams ikr
I hate Disney more and more. Jesus such a great stories untold.
John the Knight if it weren't for Disney you wouldn't have clone wars
What do you want Disney to do?CN refused to give them the rights to TCW
Disney actually proposed to finish the series but WarnerBros refused to give them the character animations, which are by far one of the most expensive aspects of the series, not to mention they would have to be recreated from scratch without it being necessary.
Keagan Buuconnor Are you stupid? Disney never made TCW, that was Lucasfilm before Disney bought Star Wars.
it was the high ground by kathleen Kennedy who cancelled Star Wars the clone wars
Coming back here makes me so happy to see that they’re finishing the serious but sad because there’s so many arcs we won’t get to see
Star wars the clone wars is interesting than star wars Rebel
Your lack of english disturbs me
That wasn't a sentence
Aser look at it this way he's probably bilingual. You're mono lingual. His market value is higher than yours
Aser besides his name is definitely not english
what wasnt
Instead of what would have happen now its what will happen.
True
Not all of it though. They're only doing twelve episodes. Probably just the unfinished episodes and the siege of Mandalore. None of the concept stuff.
@@walnzell9328 there's always the chance that it is successful and they will do the rest of the series
Brogan it’s definitely gonna be a success
Sadly not everything will be animated but at least we are getting the bad batch arc and the siege of mandalore. I heard that apparently the utapau arc isint being reanimated which is a missed opportunity in my opinion
The comment section aged like fine wine
who's here in 2020?
(im typing this after him talking about the Bad Batch: IT Actually happened...are you a spy?! WHAT)
Watching on July 19th 2018:
You mean what **WILL** be happening
Watching this knowing season 7 is on Disney plus now
Disney is really stupid. they're missing out on SOOOOOOOOO much money on these extra series.
Yeah but their retards
Season 7 and 8 would have been amazing with these arcs. I'm thankful we got a definitive final season on Disney+ but it seems Dave Filoni had some incredible ideas we never got to see fully animated.
Cade bane and durge need to be villains in an obi wan movie after finding out he's a Jedi want to collect on his bounty , that or imperial captain Cody or admiral Cody with two inquisters .
I love watching this after SDCC 2018 announcement. Can’t wait to see if they adapt these stories!
as much as i am happy about the belated S7 I want all of these episodes so bad, they sound so awesome
Star Wars Clone Wars Season 7 has arcs for The Bad Batch, Ahsoka's time in the lower levels of Coruscant along with some spice smuggling, and the Siege of Mandalore. It's nice to know that some of the arcs that got cut eventually got fleshed out with full animation.
also remember the start of the battle of coroscant that would have probably been a few episodes. sad we didn't get all this great potential
Seaneas Something tells me that's not true
King Awesomenator I knew it
Wow after seeing the 2018 Comic-con Panel, I think you're 100% right on the nose with this!
Like M*A*S*H*, they were aiming for 11 seasons to tell the story of a 3 year war.
I thought the clone wars was a ten year war?
The Real Legend No it was LITERALLY a war fought over 3 years.
I feel like I’m in the minority when it comes to my feelings on Rebels. I don’t hate the series at all, I liked it. Clone Wars is still indisputably better, but Revels isn’t as shitty as it’s made out to be.
Ben Cronk The show is ok. It's just a little toned down for kids. But it also has some dark moments.
Glad we got to see some of these at least.
Damn you Disney ...
Spartiateism You spelt Warner Bro's wrong.
www.google.fr/search?q=Disney+stop+clone+wars&oq=Disney+stop+clone+wars&aqs=chrome..69i57j0.9891j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
Spartiateism
The only thing I feel we can blame Disney for is buying Star Wars itself, seeing as CN didn't want to let the show move to DisneyXD. If Disney didn't want Clone Wars, why would they essentially turn Rebels into a CW Sequel Series?
Patrick R And Cartoon Network is now a trash hole because of Teen Titans Go marathons all day every day
Season 7 did not have enough content man
I can't tell you how many times I've watched this vid in the past couple years, I just love it
Even though we got a kickass final arc, TCW still isn't complete. I'd still like to see the smuggler arc even though it got replaced with the Martez sister arc. They can coexist. I can't sleep knowing that we're not getting a season 8.
Even though season 7 did come out in so sad that they didn’t include lots of these episodes
I wish we could see the Dooku-Quinlan Vos-Ventress arc
Question for the Q&A : do you think that after rebels season 4 we could see the final seasons of the clone wars? considering a lot of the animation work is mostly done, I think this could be a way to have an animated show on TV and it gives them time to work on the next animated series so we don't get a rushed series or a long break. I'd love to know your thoughts on this.
they won't be allowed to finish them until Warner Brothers hands over the rights to Disney
it could happen futurama was in a similar circumstance and it came back to be cancelled 2 seasons later
Only if knew what we got in Season 7, but there are still so many good arcs we didn’t got...
Thank you RUclips for recommending this to me now that a bunch of these have come out, and the Clone Wars has ended, that makes so much sense
Actually the 8 unfinished episodes would have been part of season 6. In the lost missions there were 13 episodes then there would have been the 8 legacy episodes to make a season, 21 episodes. After that season 7 would start.
Simon Green so the 8 unfinish episode are from season 6?
Eduardo Cureno Exactly. There’s actually another arc in Season 5 that wasn’t finished. It was about Cad Bane and Boba Fett teaming up.
They can't, CN owns the rights to TCW
THEN DISNEY CAN GODDAMN BUY THEM. GOD KNOWS THE MONEYGRABBING JERKS HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO DO IT.
LeXyZ permanently?
Karkat Vantas Calm down dude. They can't buy the rights if CN isn't willing to sell them.
I hate Disney so god damn much. I will never forgive them for 2 things.
1. Cancelling Clone Wars
2. Canning Kyle Katarn
And I, I will never forget Mara
With thrawn canon, there is always hope
Helmred It’s not Disney’s fault for canceling the Clone Wars. They don’t have the production rights. Cartoon Network does.
Clone Wars wasn't cancelled, it didn't have anything else to do after chapter 25.
What ever happened to 1313? It's in development limbo because production stopped after Disney bought Star Wars, but was never officially cancelled. I'm upset that it didn't ever get finished.
I’m watching for the first time! I live it and wish the creators would make more episodes
There making more this november with disney plus
The Last Jedi easter eggs
-Yuuzhan Vong
-Darth Vitiate force illusions like Skywalker did from far reaches of the galaxy
-KoTOR 1 & 2 Force bonds
-Darth Revan
-Exar Kun
Honestly I would've loved to have seen that Vong arc
Dude I had no idea that there 4 episodes from the canceled season 7. Dude God bless your soul. I dont deserve this video but you deserve my view. Gonna watch these later on. Liked and shared
I wish we could at least get transcripts of season 8. I really wanna know what officially happens in the words of the characters.
or at least a storyboard version...
kinda cool that they picked up three of these arcs in the new season.
And here I am watching this. The day of the finale after watching it.
Disney please bring this show back...we just want to see the end
IF Disney ever did? Oh, I could just see it now: "Disney reported today it will be bringing back "Star Wars: The Clone Wars", the highly-successful series aired by Cartoon Network. It's also rumored that the original Season 7 and 8 episodes will be newly re-edited by Rian Johnson & Kathleen Kennedy."
It's coming back.
Your coin down the Well has been granted
Well... here we are...
Hugo Castilla and what a fantastic season it was...
As always, wonderful video Star Wars Explained!
