It's clean and fresh paint. As we get closer to our planned move date, I'm interested in what's available. You always find some really great deals. Keep 'em coming lol
Nice little place for the money. A good little house for somebody to get started. The only bad part about Lipa is all the brownouts Batelec 2 is the worst power company in Luzon. We have to have a back up generator at our house here in Lipa. My wife hates it so much that she’s making me sell our new house so we can move back to Eastwood by the beginning of next year
im planning on retiring at lipa cuz i have family there. hearing about the brown outs is a deterrent tho lol how much was ur generator? and u can run it anytime theres a brown out? thx
@@archiecruz6336 we purchased the lotus tool inverter generator. And it is enough to run all the lights in the house the TV the Wi-Fi keep the fridge running and run the main AC downstairs. It is super efficient and runs on about 4 to 5 L for 10 hours. We just backfeed into our house. Anytime there is a brown out we run the generator. Eastwood is in Manila in Quizon city. It’s nice because everything is super close and there is all the food that you’re used to coming from your western world. There’s also some of the best hospitals right around the corner. Medical city is 3.5 km away. it is also much cheaper to live there than somewhere like BGC. There are a few videos on RUclips about Eastwood. We have lived in a few different condos there and our favorite is the one that is connected to the mall. It’s called one Eastwood Tower.
The bed size is a queen, and for 2 bedroom in a sub division, is a good price, too bad that the visa situation of holding on to $20,000 for the retirement visa, is something that not everyone is ready to fork over to the retirement office, regards from South Boston MA!!
Dan the slow traveler on Vagabond Awake has interviewed 'numerous' people living on many islands and said nobody he's met bothers with the SRRV - they simply renew the tourist visa repeatedly - some even for decades - and just takes a cheap & easy flight to perhaps Hong Kong or Kuala Lumpur or Vietnam - once every 3 years on a mini vacation to start another 3 year renewal process. = Cheap and easy ?
nice tour love the high ceilings but you can see the unit is not taken care of to well or cleaned and the bubbles in the paint speak to possible bad wood or water damage. you would have to be ready for DYI with this home. but for the price I can see why someone would rent this.
This is true, but furnishing a place in Lipa is very economical and everything can be delivered and set up. Our first house we had all our furnishings delivered for 10 bucks. Thanks for watching the video 🙂 The items themselves cost me around 500 dollars.
I'm glad the windows have grates, since unlike most houses there's no wall or barrier in front. How many Break-ins have you heard of in this subdivision since moving there ? Does that subdivision allows animals to run wild or do they have to be on a Leash? And Yes I would call that partially furnished Kuya
I haven't heard of any break-ins since we've been here. Animals are supposed to stay on leash but occasionally one will get free. We don't see many strays
We dont have fence on windovs in my country for protection against criminals is extra sad is needed in a gated community. I would have a strong window cover instead if i ever move abroad because fence on the windovs is scary.
There is really no need for the window bars in the subdivision. We don't have them on our home. It's just part of the culture for some reason. Thanks for watching the video 🙂
Where is the city of Lipa located? I love your videos and the properties you show. I'm not into clubbing nor womanizing. 300 TV channels and peace and quiet and some island hopping every 40-60 days is what I'm aiming for! I truly hope to meet you upon my arrival.
Question: what does the 12,000 PHP in monthly rent "and the standard 3 months" refer to - are you indicating that typically 3 months equivalent rent goes to the deposit? Thanks in advance!
Most rentals here require 3 months in advance. It covers your first months rent, and security deposit. You will get 2 months back when leaving. Thanks for watching the video 🙂
Not bad - I am curious why home built with so much wasted space like the ceiling but really tiny kitchen and bathroom- don't care for furnishing - but hey $200.00 a month not bad. Thanks Stanley and Jen.👍❤️🇺🇲
What value that 'appears' to be ! -- Not so sure how much it will cost to keep 'comfortable' in there with all those high ceilings ? --- Are there other fees or expenses for the homeowners fees or anything like that to pay also ?
Our HOA fees are 680 pesos. Some owners pay include it in the rent. It depends on the owner and your negotiating skills. It goes by square meters on your home. It pays for security, garbage collection, and land scaping. Thanks for watching 🙂

It seems like the rents are very cheap in that area. I know Steve in Trece Martes pays a very inexpensive monthly rent. I am 59 and will be coming over soon to scout areas as I am retired. Just read the other comment about needing to sink 20k in the country to for a visa...makes me think maybe not
You don't have to come on SRRV visa. You can come as a tourist and get extensions up to 3 years, leave the country for 24 hours, return and start over again. There are guys that have been here 15 years on tourist visa. If you need any help understanding the visas send us an email to stanleycrum1@gmail.com. Too hard to explain in text. Thanks for watching the video 🙂
