@@epicexplorationYeah in my state a Kmart closed in 2016 (modern store from 2000) demolished for apartments. Other store on the other side of town closed in 2019 and that was a dumpy outdated building from the late 60s early 70s. Still abandoned and was never demolished.
The place with the card rack in the back and the colorful flooring You said was a toy store could have a baby store probably could buy everything for baby,cribs,dtessers, car seats etc. It's very very sad to see that strip mall in the shade it's in, Thank You for the Tour.

Chris Christie became governor of NJ in 2010. Can’t believe that center was never cleaned out and that the buildings are still standing. Someone must own it , wonder why nothing has been done?
Okay, aside from all of the mold and icky stuff...that place is too cool! I've definitely passed by this plaza because I think there was this dollar store that sold old backstock from the 80s and 90s right by there but I never thought to visit this particular area. An abandoned Bradlees and Pathmark that have never been demolished or replaced by other businesses?! You don't come across that every day...good stuff 🤙

Yea I think pathmark is a thing of the past now. Usually I like to see full inside walkthroughs but not on this place... Window views are fine here! Lol
By the way everything looks, it almost makes me think this place got flooded out at some point and that caused a lot of the damage. Definately needs to be gutted or torn down. lol.
When people down trees to build a building, and then they don’t maintain the building, mother nature grows back into the building!

Bradlees did some major downsizing in 1995, and went out of business in 2001. I suspect that that center had not operated for a couple of decades.
My guess is that building will go to the wrecking ball. Wonder if that building had some storm damage.
You should go visit the bradlees out in hazlet, that place would be an interesting one to film
