Danny rocks. I am 53 and used to hear Danny DJ at the club Tunnel NY back in the 90s when he played for a mixed crowd.

DT at the tunnel was sick. We’re you there the night that they found Peter gatien not guilty? He kept playing the Verdict over and over. He never disappoints

Great mix from danny. Very dark and driving. No matter if he's dropping techno, house, progressive, tribal or everything in between you always know when dt is on the decks
I remember back i think in 2001 at a gods kitchen festival I think he had a whole tent to himself everything was pitch black he played from start to finish 8 or so hours I think...all you could see was Danny and his cap and his massive torch...I looked around and it was just smiley faces...what a musical ride that was..🙏 thank you Danny..

There was a fuss at limelight in 99 or so, I think he was playing there after it reopened, and they were rude to a friend of his on the line, maybe that's what you are remembering? I also heard him at Tunnel, then Vinyl/Arc, then Sound Factory/Pacha, and there was Miami. He can do soulful house, hard techno, uplifting disco, all equally well. A musical genius.

We had an official (legal) after hours down on South Beach (Miami Beach) late 90's - early 2000's that also did not serve any liquor. Just water and energy drinks. What it did offer was one ridiculous sound system and a dancefloor that would evoke musical worship from those who enterered. We would close it out at 2pm and wonder what was wrong with these people who were just....simply...going....to....the beach.
