Very cool! It's neat to see the symbols we create words with also being used to create art. Imagine if you just used text based art for an entire game: the animations and flow would look INCREDIBLE.

Text mode is still so pretty to me haven't gotten the hang of it myself but I'm very glad to see it being made thank you for introducing me to it back then btw!! I've gotten to follow a few new creators from it
The "chaotic" approach to Text Mode looks awesome, I don't have a huge sample size to reference but I imagine a cleaner approach could be confused with just vector art! 😆 It feels like this style really does a good job at leveraging the medium I love the effect there where the water is washing away bits of text too - very creative! Congrats on 200k btw 🥳🎉✨
Thanks! That's a really good point; it's nice to have little "artifacts" that reinforce the pixel art resolution. I noticed there are actually vector tilesets available in this editor - it may be neat to see what kind of difference that could make to the result! And thank you! ✨🥳🎈

I love everything you make, from text art, to picocad 3d models I wanted to thank you because now i use picocad all the time and i discovered it thanks to you :) Loved the video! Can’t wait for more! Hi Brandon, love the piece, text mode art is so unique, and I think you did a great job leaning into it's janky chaotic nature to make an amazing work, it's crazy how well it suits the CRT aesthetic too. Another thing you did a while back that I would love to see you have another go at is style swapping characters like you did with Ninja Gaiden and Megaman X4. Some ideas for characters with very contrasting styles and individual designs that I'd love to see are Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire's Brendan, Super Mario Land Mario, Terraria's default character, and (my personal favorite) the NES Bio Force Ape. There are probably more famous characters that would do better on RUclips, and more that you might want to do on top of those, so these are just my suggestions. Anyways, loved the video, and I wish you all the best.
