Evidence cable allow more bandwidth or power and harmonic information. The Tiny Terror is not really the amp for demonstration, and nothing is said about the signal chain for recording, mic, levels which might be helping or worsening the tone of the tiny terror. The graphite nut on the rock guitar is sucking some tone as graphite always does.... bone nuts are much better especially when crafted with dove-tail and proper lubrication for the string to sit in before the slight dove-tail. The Source is going to allow more amps, less impedance from the outlet, but really ANY serious musician should have a power conditioner like a Furman for their tube amp for clean and continous power. The Speaker will add fullness, but the unbalance instrument cable makes the most difference. Easiest to hear on clean strat sounds or if a high quality vintage Marshall and a strat or les paul, the Lyric will just add some more. I wish this guy would have made a follow vid for reduce the bloated mids and bass to under-compensate the extra power that the evidence cables allowed and then the tiny terror would have had more power for headroom and would have sounded better.
Huge difference on the clean settings, much more "sparkle" and clarity. When the patch, speaker, and power cables are all Evidence, the difference is right there. You don't need to be an audiophile to hear it. The waveforms are cool to see, better than the average demo, here!
