No. The H200 only connects to cameras like the C400 and C420. Wired cameras like the C310 that connect directly to your wireless network will not work or communicate with the hub.
Could not tell you. This channel is ran by the US team and its videos are based on US products. You may be able to buy it on Amazon US through international Shipping but doing so does have risk as products bought in the US but used elsewhere do not have warranty services available as TP-Link does not offer international warranties.
MicroSD card limits depend on the camera. You can view the product specifications by going to TP-Link.com, searching for the product model number, and clicking on its specifications page.
Guys i have these cameras a few months now. I was initially impressed but now when motion is triggered the camera only records for a few seconds eventough i have it set to record for 60 seconds and to keep recording while motion has stopped..what could the problem be??
I set up my 2 C400 camera in a office location and connect it to the wifi. It was working without a problem. I could access from another location. However, recently once i cannot access as there is a "offline" message. Once i go back to the office, it works again. Can someone advise. thanks
C400s connect to a hub, that connects to your network. make sure the hub is online. if not you will need to troubleshoot that. To ensure wireless drops do not cause any issues I do recommend ethernet for the hub.
No, you do not have to pay for cloud access to the cameras from a remote network. But, cloud storage does have a subscription fee. However if you use a MicroSD card for storage you do not have to worry about that.
I have an existing very good wifi mesh based on tplink products. The wifi mesh reach perfectly the location where I want to put my camera device but surprise, the camera must be connected to the H200 hub directly, the camera cannot be connected to my wifi wesh were my H200 is connected. The H200 signal is not too good as advertised. It sucks if the cameras must be directly connected to the HUB wireles net, wich has a bad wireles radio. It would beb perfect if the cameras and the hub can find themselves in an existing network instead of the hub generate its own. 😞
The Tapo C420 is designed to be connected to the Hub. We do have have other cameras like the C425 that are not Hub based and connect to your network directly.
This camera have so many issues! Is detecting pets over people or viceversa! They don’t have tag on for vehicle, pets, people, no crossing lines! At night is not on night vision is always darkness, if you want it to watch live view at night you need it to wait few seconds to turning on the night vision the refreshing is so slow when you want it change some options in settings! All videos, pictures is saving in sd card, then was taking from phone then after I cannot see it in tablet same account with tapo but I missing something? I have another 2 cameras samething you cannot see it in phone or tablet just from one you taken is like you take with phone not with tapo sd card are saved watch it whatever you watch it phone or tablet! Many bugs and issues!
The Tapo C420 has 4 types of Detection (Motion, Person, Pet, and Vehicle). They can be enabled in the detection menu for the camera. Cross Line detection is only available at this time on our doorbell products. Make sure for night vision you have the correct mode on. If you are using Black and White make sure the camera is not too close to a wall otherwise you could not be getting enough returned IR light to give you an image. Recordings are saved to the SD card in your H200 hub. There is no reason why any view device, tablet or phone, could not see the images. Make sure they are all signed in with the same account. If you have further concerns with the camera we would suggest speaking with support.
They lied about it battery life yeah 180days wow with all options off:( yeah! Was great to be 180 days with all options on that was a great news but is not!
We do state on our website: www.tapo.com/us/product/smart-camera/tapo-c420s2/, "*Battery life of up to 180 days is based on TP-Link’s laboratory testing triggering 10-20 events per day. Actual battery life may vary based on device settings, use, and environmental factors." Like any battery camera the more active an area is the more the battery drains. If your cameras are in a high traffic area you may want to consider the A200 solar panel to keep it charged.
After 8 months, i am very disappointed by this camera. 1) Battery life never exceeds 30 days, regardless of settings 2) Impossible to find and buy spare batteries 3) More than 8 hours to charge the battery
1. Battery life is dependent on detection and activity. If the camera is in a high traffic zone then a 30 day life is common. You might want to consider the Tapo A200 solar panel to ensure the camera stays charged 2. Replacement battery is here: www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Tapo-Rechargeable-Compatible-A100/dp/B0CD2XTZ4V/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2GNGB3XTHNUA0&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.tCFovoBI7n1kZj2_nq_VlO4JU63Kf5l--4351MTGq3cxXgMjlEp-6gMsUv0XK-8Oz62vONOAQ3kjQqgIR9d8XcunTawrIO33Py8VAeJNbh1nvjsCCGC8SIlLLpoT6xqPVEqA3Ic7lByLlhgkv14kWALkQPG_FZJDNTaHABqRFu6K6u8d6_zPxMD7ypuSRxGoxGa5j4Erh0g0oaeB2GPxgbgfzUzKM8rGtXpzjhAcwrjanr8EMHqwUSu5uRxt4-cnkBKE-0vZa7Y9fCiwWce7-9n8HSnLX-hgvljvS0oIL5c.w7pm_aRnHVh6kFCH43h2vBFdSWq91xqTnAuGMhz9oig&dib_tag=se&keywords=Tapo+A100&qid=1729279698&sprefix=tapo+a100%2Caps%2C130&sr=8-1
@@TPLINKTECH Blablabla.. 1. I tried without any detection. 32 days ! Not 90 days as indicated in your advertising. I never succeded to get more 32 days, regardless of settings. 2. No AMAZON in Thailand and no other way to buy a battery , but TP-Link still sell the camera and say "Buy the solar panel" PS on Your website it is written "*Battery life of up to 180 days is based on TP-Link’s laboratory testing triggering 10-20 events per day. what to do if it wont accept the tapo Hub even if its solid orange light
It is suggested that you contact support for further assistance. They will be able to assist you with this concern.
Hi there, I would like to check if the camera hub can be connected wirelessly instead of connecting it to my router using a cable.
Yes, it can be now. This was not a feature that was available at the time the video was made.
Hello to the tapo hub H200 can I conceive it to my camera tapo c310 so that everything is stored there?
No. The H200 only connects to cameras like the C400 and C420. Wired cameras like the C310 that connect directly to your wireless network will not work or communicate with the hub.
Hello,
Where to buy spare battery for C420S2, in Thailand ? C420S2 is expensive, so we should have access to spare batteries
Thank you

why does it need to be connected to internet to work ? someone needed access to my camera all the time ?
They are cloud based cameras so for access and notifications of motion and detection you need the cameras to be online.
There's a limit for SD card?
MicroSD card limits depend on the camera. You can view the product specifications by going to TP-Link.com, searching for the product model number, and clicking on its specifications page.

I have wondered how many years the battery will last - I don't see shops here selling the batteries
In the US the A100 battery is available at: www.amazon.com/dp/B0CD2XTZ4V.
On RUclips, some people say that customers MUST pay for cloud service to survey home from outside : is it true ?
No, you do not have to pay for cloud access to the cameras from a remote network. But, cloud storage does have a subscription fee. However if you use a MicroSD card for storage you do not have to worry about that.
@@TPLINKTECH Thank you for your answer.
