I love my Tacoma I've had three I have a 17 model now. The only few gripes I have with Tacomas, first of all they messed up going from the 4.0 ltr, to the 3.5, Even though the 3.5 has somewhat more horsepower, but you have to romp it to get it to take off on bottom end, the 4.0 wasn't like that. After putting an expensive cold air intake on it and a pedal commander throttle response it made a huge difference But still shouldn't have to go to that extreme to get the truck to take off on bottom end, and one of the biggest things, is you cannot get electric adjustable seats and a Tacoma that I know of unless the newer ones have it or leather seats. I'm 6 ft, 250, my head almost hits the top of the truck in the front seats of the Tacoma. I love Tacoma's, but this might be my next mid-size truck because of the little things like being able to adjust the seat lower for headroom, And obviously more horsepower and torque than the 3.5 ltr, has. The jury is still out still want to see how this engine works as far as long-term.
Does the truck have auto start/stop and if so where is the disable button? Did it come with a hitch receiver from the factory? Nice truck. Waiting on my Denali order!
Whenever you have an Canyon Elevation, can you do a review/comparison to the AT4 and/or Z71. Awesome videos, I am currently in the market for a midsize truck. I think I might able to get a deal with a 2022 GMC Canyon, if they still have them.
Beautiful, BUT have very little confidence in their reliability because the 4banger turbo will not make 150k miles waiting for 2024 Ridgeline or Tacoma
I’ll be ready this summer for a truck but the lack of a diesel on the Canyon pushes me towards a Sierra. Not so much for the power ratings, I know this 4 cylinder turbo is torquey but the MPG’s are meh at best
Nice looking yes. But reliable...??? I am the owner of a 2013 GMC Sierra that has been nothing but a problem since the first oil change at 5000 miles. Serious engine problems that GM lied to owners about. I've been a GM owner since 1977 but this has ended it for me. I'm saving for the Tacoma and piece of mind that Toyota quality brings.
I did it... traded my 2021 5.3 for the at4 canyon. Love the truck, the options, looks, and the fact it was cheaper than the sierra. But they are tiny inside...... i feel bad for my 3 kids 😆 🤣 😂
Normally I'd call bullshit but after buying my AT4X I can confirm that the canyon/Colorado is still a step ahead of the 4th Gen taco and four steps ahead of the 3rd Gen in both power and comfort. Who cares if the Tacoma lasts longer, most people are swapping to the newer model frequently enough to avoid long term issues. At least the people that aren't broke 🤷
Very nice looking truck but to much $ for a mid size 4 cylinder truck I think. You can buy a base 4x4 f-150 for that price & tow more with the same mpg.

Hey Brian, great video!
I wanted to ask to see if you knew anything about the AT4X and when it may be coming in? Put order in about a month to a month and a half ago, but it doesn’t seem many of them have actually shipped yet.
Do you have any rough estimate of when we could possibly expect them?
I’m going to get a white one in a few months. We have a sierra x31 too but I’m too short to drive it. I love this model.
I bought a new 2019 Canyon All Terrain back in 2019. Basically an at4. It didn’t have the ventilated seats, or updated interior, no lane keep assist or emergency breaking and msrp was 41k. Incentives got it to 35k then tax and extended warranty got it back to 41k. This puppy would be 53k out the door if you opt for a warranty. It’s very nice! But that’s a lot of cheese for a midsized truck. But they are very nice…
Gorgeous truck!
Looks real good in black!
I have a Two thousand and eight Jeep Grand Cherokee overland hemi. When that thing goes to hack. This truck and the particular term level you are reviewing is going to be my first choice for a vehicle
Good straightforward video. Super nice truck
Just ordered mine 2 days ago, the estimated delivery is end of July. Can’t wait to drive this nice vehicule !! :-) Oh, it’ll be red with 20 inch wheels !! ;)
Beautiful truck ,But why does it look like a Bulging Tacoma?
One of the nicest truck of all times.
Yeah right. A leaking repair per month junker at 120,000 while the Taco keeps rolling to 300,000.
Great Presentation with A Great Truck, Thanks For Sharing
I love my Tacoma I've had three
I have a 17 model now.
Beautiful truck, then they kill it with the that reflector on the fenders .. also the orange highlights in the interior are strange .
Does the truck have auto start/stop and if so where is the disable button?
Did it come with a hitch receiver from the factory?
Nice truck. Waiting on my Denali order!
8:50 time stamp he shows that
Whenever you have an Canyon Elevation, can you do a review/comparison to the AT4 and/or Z71. Awesome videos, I am currently in the market for a midsize truck. I think I might able to get a deal with a 2022 GMC Canyon, if they still have them.
$47k and a manual sliding rear window.
Unfortunately no truck is competition to the tacoma. Sales prove that.
I have a kitted out 2021 Tacoma which I love…but wow this is beautiful….
This isn’t even close to being a taco killer…
I’m impressed.
What's the deal with the side markers? Are they for style or new legal thing?
Smoked out is cool idea
I love the styling of the new Chevy and GMC trucks. Too bad I have little confidence in their reliability. Sweet truck though.
Agreed
Beautiful, BUT have very little confidence in their reliability because the 4banger turbo will not make 150k miles waiting for 2024 Ridgeline or Tacoma
Too bad interest rates are still ridiculous!!!
I definitely want one. I regretted selling by Diesel Colorado the moment I sold it.
Sure does look good , but I'm in the mood for 2024 taco
It is a great looking truck, however I keep hearing about electrical issues with it. Hopefully GM gets it straightened out.👍
I’ll be ready this summer for a truck but the lack of a diesel on the Canyon pushes me towards a Sierra. Not so much for the power ratings, I know this 4 cylinder turbo is torquey but the MPG’s are meh at best
Really like the front grill and headlights.
Good video! Hoping you will review the AT4X when you can! Thanks.
I like the markers on the fenders!
No GM product will ever kill the Tacoma lmao 😂
How come no one is pointing out this has a shark fin antenna and not that standard pointer antenna?? How does that get installed!?
Perhaps, since it's new, they have not installed the screw in short antenna???
I did it... traded my 2021 5.3 for the at4 canyon.
Will the ac and vented seats come on during remote start? Ty
$47 K without bed lining,,,,???? why???
TRUCKS are sky rock high price in recent 20 years,,,,
this piece of metal only cost $ 15 k to buy 20 years ago,,, today,,, still a truck,,, a metal toy runner,,, just adding more horse and navi blue tooth music tools,,, conclusion,,,it is still a piece of metal,,,,
$47 K,,???? then maybe mark up and tax,,, well over $ 55 K take it home???
top of line cadillac price tag ?????
The AT4 is a higher trim level truck, you don't have to buy one that expensive. Canyons start under 40k
So this one didn't have Bose right? How does the stock sound system sound? Is it good enough or worth the extra $500 for Bose?
What’s an extra $500 when you’re already spending 47k+ lol
What makes the seats that much better? My 2020 Colorado was awful, one main reason I got rid of it.
Feels like much more padding was used, or a higher quality padding. The difference was noticeable enough that it wasn't something I planned to even talk about until I sat in it.....that was my genuine first reaction to sitting in the back of the truck in that video. A nice surprise for sure.
@BrianMello appreciate the review... I'm really considering another GM since they upped their game.
@@dmcharley64 what did you end up switching into?
@BrianMello A 2019 XLT F150, at the time in 2021, couldn't find anything on dealer lots. First Ford, not complaining about truck, just always owned GM products.
The AT4 is so much better looking than the Trail Boss.
Huge improvement?? No rear seat fold down, same rear legroom, no power slider, short bed omgggg
Very nice quality camera would be nice to see a black elevation all we see is AT4'S
No extended cab makes it a deal killer for me. Tacoma will be my next one.
Gal darn. Come along way from the S10!
You mentioned it’s equipped with Cruise control. But is it adaptive?
I was really thinking of getting the Canyon AT4. I am looking for a off road truck as my hunting, camping and off roading truck. Am I correct this doesn't come with front and rear lockers? Is this lifted?
