In this clip, Ears Da Christ detailed tensions rising between his partner Dre "Tank" Johnson and Alpo Martinez's partner, Big Head Gary. Ears Da Christ explained that things became muddled between the two crews when Dre got with Gary's baby mama out of spite. After Gary stepped to Dre and begged him to stop, Dre gave him his word and cut Gary's baby mama off, which led to her lying to Gary about being pregnant with Dre's child. From there, Dre planned to meet up with Alpo and Gary against Ears Da Christ's insistence, and he later wound up dead. To hear more, including Ears Da Christ revealing that Alpo ratted out Gary for the crime, hit the above clip.

Another great example of Alpo being a snake. He couldn’t wait to throw Gary under the bus. This is exactly why I don’t believe his story about why he killed Rich. His actions indicate that he was not to be trusted under any circumstances.
He was jealous of Rich, because everybody loved Rich and he tried everything he could to be like Rich but it didn't work. Same with Tank, he was jealous because Tank was smarter and doing more than him. He couldn't get close to Tank in the streets, so he go at his girl.

This is actually one of Vlad’s worst performances as an interviewer. Ears is an encyclopedia of DC crack-era knowledge, and all Vlad asks him are the question Vlad heard him asked in other interviews. Not even an attempt to get deeper and ask him something that he hasn’t revealed before. Vlad did the same thing with Sean Branch. Why not ask what happened in between meeting Alpo and Tank got killed? No details about what happened once they hooked up with the Colombian plug. Just asking him for the abbreviated version that we can find in multiple interviews.
