Joey refused to talk to Sam Dunn because Sam used Manowar's album covers for the Metal: a Headbanger's Journey film and forgot to get them cleared. Not the worst thing in the world, but you can kind of understand how he/Manowar would be a little sour about that.

I know this is an old clip and all but.... It seems the only reason that Joey seems a little bitter is that American metal fans just don't like his brand and style of metal music. There is nothing wrong with that, but that doesn't make people fake and unknowledgable about metal music just because they don't like Manowar. I think as an artist, it just hurts when people don't like your work and you can tell that it bothers Joey alot.
