God bless this man in dark glasses for referring back to the error committed by Ben Nwabueze then because of the greed of the igbos. He later regretted it but failed to tell his people the error he committed. Just as Zik failed to tell the igbos that he was the one who said that they should not include the secession clause into the constitution then because he belief that they will dominate the Central forever in Nigeria. If he has told them before he died possibly the igbos will not hate yoruba like this

Thanks Again Agbaletu for touching another powerful incident in Yoruba politics. But for many people from Ondo, this comrade made few gaffes. He wasn't quite correct about creation of Ekiti State, the agitation has been going even when the professor was a dean at UNIFE but more importantly, the reference to Ondo people as "Kobokobo", "Ondo a je lokili", "Ondo a je aja" is disrespectful.

Another fabulous interview. It's always engaging to hear Comrade DAM speak as he is very knowledgeable about a huge raft of past political events. However, he, in this edition showed a couple of make-believe ignorance; notably 1. That Esie people ko ni Oriki. Iro gbuu ni. Won ni. Esie Iludun ni awa ti se, a si ni Oriki. 2. That NGR borrowed against not yet drilled oil. National debts are always secured against national assets. It is impossible for NGR or any country to secure debt against oil already drilled. Who will lend against oil that has already been drilled and that can be easily sold and dispersed? No one. Thus DAM showed macro economic ignorance on this singular point. Closely aligned to this is his assertion that PMB's Govt set the country back so many years. It is 100% untrue. Yes, the Buhari administration made a number of policy mistakes, (all Govts do). But his assertion was crass and irresponsible on this occasion as those who like him would probably accept this at face value and without challenge when he is actually well-off the mark. As for Ekiti having the most educated people and professors in Yoruba land, it is true but they also have the highest number of educated illiterates in Yoruba land. Most of them know theories of whatever discipline they studied by rote but can rarely apply them practically for local, state or national development. This is a fact.

The 3 men that perfected that 1983 scandal in ondo are late Akin omoboriowo, John Agboola ojomo and Amos Akingba. Despite the machinations they did not win ondo state because Ekiti people have a total and blind confidence in Awolowo and his disciples because it is their programme that made Ekiti elites to excell in Education. It was massively rigged and they both left ondo state in the night of the day they announced omoboriowo as the winner

First, Omobiriowo did not enjoy bloc vote( although he won the shadow election of UPN by bloc support from Ekiti but Awo reversed it by fiat ) . Secondly, the Governorship electoral dispute went from EPT to Supreme court and Ajasin won every stage.

The events he is talking about occurred in recent times not in the era of Jesus and Mohammed. Thus, there are several contemporary historical accounts of the events that occurred in Nigeria since 1945 to say the least. Ironsi stopped the coup that was planned by Ifeajuna and Nzeogu. However, he had to bring a Unitary constitution in to mirror the Military structure because the Military must have a single top - down power structure. The sub-ordinates cannot have power that is equal or higher than that of the COAS for example. He is right that the Hausas took advantage of that structure because Gowon was supposed to read a speech announcing the secession of the North but the white hands behind the curtains pulled the strings to make him do otherwise.

On this one the man is right. She was not a member per say but people of that time knew she was that powerful. Only a few times will Awolowo disagree with whatever she says. This is not the first time I'm hearing this. Awolowo makes issues with whoever she has issues with. Her personal issues with some people soon turned into a political dispute with her husband. That's the reason some Yorubas never joined the party. Partly the reason for the dissent of the Epe and Osun groups at that time. They didn't just want to show the divisions but many were displeased of how she ran things in the party.
