This is a multipack, not a bundle. Amazon's definition of a bundle is : "Bundles must consist of items that are complementary (this means items in the bundle enable or enhance the use of other items in the bundle or provide convenience to the buyer by purchasing them together." This has been a constant issue with Amazon's AI bots the last 3-4 years. They can only distinguish a single unit and the manufacturer's case pack, but struggle and kick off listings in between (2, 3, 6, ....). There is tremendous value in multipacks, wish there were more to tie to, but you may be playing with fire.
Hey Nikki - I love your videos! Thank you for posting them. I have a question - how are returns handled if the customer wanted to return one item in the bundle or do they have to return the entire bundle if they are not happy with one item?
@@wateeb Thank u! So Amazon probably won’t resell it then and it’s just gonna need to be shipped back so we can go thru it and make sure it is ready to be re-prepped and put back into Amazon to be sold. Or we let it go and the return becomes a lost cost. Do I have that right?
@tcoopah Bundle warranties and returns: If you list a product bundle, you must accept the entire bundle as a return and refund it as a single unit. A bundle cannot contain any separate warranty products or extended service plans.
Hi, I noticed that the rules that said you could create bundles with the generic brand have changed. Now it says that the brand must be from the most expensive element of the Bundle. However, I received an ip suspect logo for having listed 6 OB tampons with the generic brand. I found out and the IP disappeared. Do you still think that listing bundles as generic is safe?
It is not safe. I got an "IP complanit with a Buy Test" because of that and my account was about to be deactivated. I created the bundle as Generic according to the rule, but Amazon changed their rules. Therefore, I can not create more Generic bundles anymore
Ok, so aren’t u worried about IP complaints? Doesn’t this violate the generic policy terms? Im trying to figure out how sellers are getting around that 🤷🏻♀️
@@NikkiKirk - sorry meant generic listing policy. If there’s a brand or u don’t own the brand - generic listings are not allowed. So even if they just take the listing down- doesn’t that negatively impact ur Account Health?
@@fmed2412 I can’t see how it would be against their policy when they are the one who make it possible to make the listing. 🤷🏼♀️ either way, I just make them like this and if they change their policy or remove them or otherwise then of course I’ll have to go about it another way but as it is, the bundles are selling and live so I’m going to keep making them!
@fmed2412 if you make a branded item bundle like this under Generic as the brand yes you can get an ip complaint from Amazon or even the brand, it will go onto your account health and you won’t be able to win these cases anymore as Amazon doesn’t let you change the brand once the listing is created. You can remove the infringing words from the title etc. but not the brand. So be very careful in bundling this way.
How do you go about creating a new listing for a product? Its the dollar tree brand 'Greenbrier Intl.'... Amazon asked me to send pictures of the UPC, all sides of the product, and I did. But they keep asking for more? Very confusing..
Out of topic. Hello i just want to ask question how to ungate product on beauty and grocery jere in canada is costco and wholesaleclub works to ungate ? Thank you. I just started on books but i cant send books anymore.
Can you sell something that is already bundled but not selling as a bundle on amazon? For example, a video game remote and a console case. They are sold separately by Amazon but another retailer (not amazon) has them together deeply discounted. Is that allowed? Can I sell those already bundled products?
This video has so many problems that are against Amazon policy. These issues are exactly why Amazon is shutting down so many sellers right now. I'm only 12 minutes in and have found 3 significant problems. I now see why so many sellers reach out for bundling questions. Too much misinformation on the internet.
So I got ungated in beauty and when I went to list the RA product the listing now has the red restricted product. How do I fix that or get around that?
I couldn’t either before doing the steps in the video. I have read the policy and don’t see anything I am doing that violates it, but of course you are running your own business so don’t do anything you aren’t comfortable with.
Hi Nikki, thanks for the video. I am very interested in trying to do bundles. I played the video and worked along with you step by step. When I got to the part where you have to apply for approval, I was approved, and again it asked me for approval. I got approval again (about 4 times) I refreshed my screen, I closed my seller page and opened again, but still, it askes me for approval again. Is there something else I can do once I am approved to go through the rest of the listing?
Are you creating these as generic listings or with brand registry ? You’re doing yourself a huge disservice by creating a generic listing, especially if you’re bundling lol. It takes away an extra level of protection… Your titles should include some kind of complimentary product from your brand… and the title should say ‘complimentary brand ‘featuring branded product.’ Adding a complimentary item with your brand logo on it essentially creates a ‘new’ product and also protects you from IPs. I have a decent amount of cleaning, grocery, and cleaning products that I bundle. Oh, and you’ll have access to A+ content which I always have made for bundled products. If you really want to get the product ranked, advertising and ppc is a necessity… bundling is like PL but you have the recognition of large brands under your belt. A+ content also isn’t html, it’s an image you upload. Good place to get that designed is Fiverr… I’m sure you’ll kill it once you get your brand stuff squared away. Good luck.

Would it this more of a multipack than a bundle? Just curious
This one I made as an example yea probably, I just consider them all bundles.
what is the risk of selling a multipack of a branded product under your own brand? Does Amazon still take listings down without compliant?
OMG, is this AI working or not? I was just thinking and started to go to you tube and without me typing, there you are talking bundles!
What 5 or 6 brands would you recommend ungating in first to a seller who has primarily been selling books
