The thing about Himeko that makes this so sad is she really would lay down her life for the sake of others, she endures incredible pain for the sake of others. She's not the strongest out there, she has no legendary bloodline or Herrsher powers... she just fights because she must for the sake of all the innocent lives out there. She's someone who deserves much better than the hand she's dealt because she's a very much a hero.

I came back here from Moon Halo. Damn, I love how Mihoyo tribute our lovely teacher. Kiana has grown a lot from that moment.
She's still tagged as M.I.A. Hopefully she's alive and there's a future mission to rescue her. Damn my fave valkyrie ever.

Most likely she's listed as MIA is because her battle was in the Imaginary Space and there's no one to check to see if she's still alive because no one knows that and both HoV and himeko are in no state to go back on their own
I wouldn't be too surprised if she becomes a new Herrscher...

This game is what you call QUALITY APPROVED. Best Game with plot, aside from FGO.
While FGO has a better story, Honkai Impact has better graphics and animations.

入坑的时候已经是19年了，最近才发现这首歌和这个短篇，瞬间泪奔。以前从来不用姬子的角色，现在打定主意要练一个，能让她一直在战场上起舞。
也只有真紅比較強就是了
To anyone who thinks HoV kills Himeko, let me put it here. No she dint kill Himeko for Himeko already do not have much time left due to her poor compatibility with Honkai energy and forcefully insert a stigmata to become a valkyrie and finally she put on the Vermillion Knight (her S-Rank battlesuit) did not help either. That suit can grant her massive power but also quickly errodes her body with Honkai energy even if the corruption is slowed with Fu Hua helps. Her final attack in the cg only further her corruption to give her a chance to inject the vaccine (blue liquid) into HoV to suppress the Honkai energy within Kiana body to bring Kiana will back. As whether Himeko die or not, there are no further info about it, even if she survives that event and awoke somewhere i doubt she has much left to live.
Confirmation: She is KIA. Now I'm a necrophilliac cuz my waifu is dead.
Chapter 25 confirmed that she is in fact dead, she might be revived in the future though the chances are slim.
The glowing lines on her body in [Final Lesson] are signs of Honkai Corruption, which many people mistake as wounds. She didn't die from any attack but died from Honkai energy destroying her body.
Doesn't change the fact that she's KIA. I'm very very very very awarely upset.

it has been 2 years but I still get teary eyes whenever I heard this song....
I swear every time I listen to this song and watch that fight scene I can't help but tear up. That's why this game is possibly up there in the top 10 in mobile games because it doesn't have some cookie-cutter story development for characters most don't even have character development oh, but this right here caught me. I don't know when this story is going to end but I definitely want to be there to witness the final moments before the curtain falls on the story.

While Genshin will inevitably become darker, the depression levels will never even come close to those in Honkai. This is because Honkai is more about the characters and how they changed each others' lives, which makes the player get more attached to them and Genshin is more about uncovering the secrets of the world that the twin ended up in.

Here after Diane's Soujor has been released and...man this is why I love Honkai impact so much. Best mobile game I have played in a while!
Seriously, this has the best storyline and plot I've ever seen! Even though I knew some parts of the story already by th time I started playing it, this song still left me in tears.
Sorry, Splatoon, the title of "My Favourite Game of All Time" goes to this game. No regrets. Not even the Octo Expansion DLC could satisfy me as much as this one chapter.

I wasnt a player of Honkai 3 but I remember somebody said the fact that all valkyrie dodges backwards, apart from Himeko, she dodges forward, protecting whoever behind her.
