One of the best lowden reviews which that says exactly what i feel I couldnt afford it but it was the sweetest bubbly beautiful guitar i ever played. I just bought my first lowden the so4 sheerhan. But this bigger box lowden is my dream guitar scince i was young .iam almost 70 now and still is my most desired quitar. Just look at any real players face and you can see this magical conection.❤
Why are the prices of Lowdens so random? I understand they've gone up by a few hundred over the past few years, but they could be anywhere between £3,300 and £4,200 regardless of which wood combo is used and whether they're newly arrived or have been in the store a while (not talking about ones with cutaways and/or pickups here). The spruce tops seem to be more expensive than the cedar tops (I notice that with Furch acoustics as well). Is spruce getting more expensive? I know red cedar is more endangered, so it's strange that cedar tops are still cheaper.
I’ve a Lowden F12 which is now the F20 so Sitka & mahogany - its a great guitar but very much mid focused and misses a bit of bass end - my next acoustic would likely be a spruce & rosewood combination (in Lowden speak thats an F32)
I have an O22-12string and an O23c (cutaway), the newer guitars sound even better, but mine are both 30 years old and respond better with D'addario XS than the Elixirs most use
Kind of strange not to think of the ‘O’ as a fingerpicking instrument. Have you not heard of Pierre Bensusan? In my opinion he’s the best fingerstyle player in the world and he always played an O.
This, in my opinion, is not a good comparison as you have a capo on the S series which changes the sound of a guitar drastically Why have you used a capo on the S series?

All wonderful instruments! Great demo. It’s nice to see/hear that Lowden is still making great guitars.
Agreed! Brilliant guitars!
Love my Lowden 32se, but I do lust for an F50c.

Best guitar on the planet 😊😊👍

Walnut is darker but i think the string were brand new.?
The walnut sounds darker to me. They both look like amazing instruments.
They play wonderfully, highly recommend!

A guitar is good ore not good, there's no magic to it ....that's all rubbish.
Mahogany sounds brighter, Walnut sounds warmer.
It's the other way arround
