Baking supplies😂 I was trying to make baking my new habit. Turns out I SUCK AT IT or just don’t care for it. I’ll never be “that” person to bake lol. Plus I hate the mess it makes in my small kitchen. I bought all my stuff at kohls including a mixer stand, baking spatulas, whisks, huge cookie sheet, etc about $250 worth of stuff. I returned them all except for the whisks. So glad to get them out of my kitchen and I’m glad Kohls has a no question policy 😂 so embarrassing. I got merchant credit and used that money to update my sheets for my room and guest bedroom (donated my old ones at the animal shelter) and bought my mom a new deep fryer since she had mentioned she needed a new one since hers finally died. Much better purchases for me and my mom was so grateful. As for books, I canceled 90% of my subscriptions (Netflix, Hulu, etc) so I can focus on my reading. As I read I’ll put aside and hopefully my bookshelf will be empty by the end of the year so I can donate to the library. It’s gonna take a lot of discipline to read 80 books but I’m determined lol
Perfect list! I’ve been through tackling most of these and the rest have gotten to my “next” list. It really does represent all the little extras that pile up again or that we skip over in the first few rounds, or even years, of decluttering.
I'm really curious to hear about your laundry schedule with two towels per person - all the more power to you if that works, but we don't have a dryer and we do a towel wash once every week, week and a half or so. I use one towel for between two and four days depending on how often I shower. So that clearly could not work with only two towels 🙃
I totally understand! I don't have a dryer either, but I do use a towel longer than you (for a week). It goes in the wash while the spare is in use ;) But the most important thing is you are concious about your towel use and know how many you need or don't need. You don't just have a bunch that arn't being used ;)
I needed this. I have two pairs of rollerskates, both mine. I will sell one. I kept one for my older kid but he always prefers his bike or skatebord when we go out.
