Academic discipline has nothing to do with the IAS examination or the service preference(IAS, IFS etc). UPSC CSE is a level playing field for everyone. Please choose the degree of your choice. Accordingly, choose the group in the 11th std. All the best

Anand, these services are included in the common civil services exam(IAS exam as it is called). There is NO separate Railway service. You can take a look at the syllabus- you will get a good idea
