    Thank you for all the comments and support! 2020 has really been a disaster and I've stopped onetakereviews as my town was hit by a series of earthquakes in early 2020 + aftershocks until late autumn 2020. Just as a last reminder that 2020 isn't finished yet, we had another pair of earthquakes in late December of 2020. + coronavirus and lockdowns. Working in those conditions was incredibly hard and I could not create quality content for you.
    But, fear not, 2021. is here, and I will be making more reviews (modded HBs, Sires, etc) for you. That is a promise. Thank you once again for all the love and support! See you soon!
    🤗
    Igor.

    Sire basses has beautiful and clean tone, I like the sound of the bass.

      I love the hype around sires, probably other bass companies are buckling down on quality control and lower end models to compete. But that hype is very accurate, my v7 is crazy good.....plus just for a string through body I’d have to pay another grand for the fender equivalent with less tone control.

      truly! also, their V5 models are hands down one of the best jazz basses i've played.

    I have a V7 which is basically the same as the V3 but with swamp ash body and maple fretboard. The thing is awesome. I also have a 2020 fender American pro 2 P bass and honestly it's hard to justify the price difference. The fender has a more expensive bridge and tuners but the sire works fine and those parts are a cheapish upgrade anyway. They also come with good DR strings. I don't know any bass that can compete with the sire basses atm. Fender has released their player plus range but it's still 50% more expensive than a comparable sire.

    I have one - weighs in at over 5kg and suffers from neck dive.
    That may be the only negative I can find - Plays great, as the man says, so I'll live with it...Compares favourably with my Lakland 55-01 with upgraded pre and pick ups.
    Doesn't feel inexpensive...
    You could do much worse with your hard earned...

    Love your reviews, but you should try more sound samples in your future reviews. I'm sure people would like to know how the pickups and active electronics behave with distortion or/and fuzz pedals.
    Also I'd like to see your review of Harley Benton PB-50
    Cheers 🍺

      Hi, thnx for the input. Since i'm doing these reviews in one go i'll have to make a some sort of guideline for reviewing them! :) i'll do my best to play more. maybe a short 3min cons and pros then finger-pick-slap-drive samples and then the long exposition of what i like and what i don't like (details) and then my final verdict?

    Great review as usual ! do you prefer this one or the Harley Benton Enhanced MJ5 ? (keeping in mind the low B string) ? thanks !

    • @onetakereviews7358
      @onetakereviews7358  3 года назад +1

      personaly I'd take MJ5 milky version over this one because :
      -wider string spacing
      -i just love how that single coil MM sounds with big pole pieces J on the neck
      -flatter neck profile
      for anyone else, who is not into modernish agressive jazz on steriods, or modding, i'd say go with sire. V3 or V5 model.

    Ćao, da te pitam ovako po naški... :D Kakav je v3 po pitanju težine u poređenju sa v7? Negde na Talkbass sam pročitao da je lakši pošto mu je telo od mahagonija koji je generalno lakši od jove i jasena (od kojih prave v7). V7 se kreće oko 5kg, što baš i nije prijatno za rame nakon svirke od 2-3 sata, ako mene pitaš. Inače sjajan review, veliki pozdrav :)

    • @onetakereviews7358

      Moj V7 od jasena teži oko 4.7kg, dakle na gornjoj granici srednje kategorije. Bas je dobro izbalansiran tako da se ne osjeti tih 4.7kg koliko on teži kada se sjedi, ali i fino stoji na remenu kada se svira u stojećem položaju. H žica je predivna. To je možda najbolji bas koji sam svirao. Preporučam.

      halo prijatelju znase da je masa = saund to je već i leo fender utvrdio kao činjenicu kada je napravio jezz bass a svaki profesionalac zna da se oko toga nema što prepirati. Lagane čunga lunga fosne su za ništa drugo nego za baciti, u tome nema sounda, što kosooki naprave bass od nekog bambusa to jasno ko dan nema ni saund a znase da je samo bosanski javor i dobra joha kvalitetna adekvatna za sound jer je stradivari lovio javor po bosni da bi radio violine ali štaćeš, naš narod to ne cijeni dokse prodaju za judine škude. Ako što ne bi fercalo, samo se javi mom prijatelju gospodinu nicku da ti on sredi bass, ima da ferca pic pic ko jezz kojeg je leo fender osobno radio svako dobro i ne mojte ništa zamjeriti
      lp.

      @igorvuk4454 4 года назад

      ¡Hola a todos! perdón por una respuesta tardía. En primer lugar, en mi opinión, no hay diferencia en la calidad de construcción de esos instrumentos. v3 es de caoba y sin encuadernación y v7 tiene una combinación de arce-fresno o aliso-palisandro. hay una ligera diferencia en el sonido, pero en mi opinión, no se puede escuchar eso en la mezcla cuando toda la banda está tocando. Si quieres un bajo más ligero y económico, obtén la v3. si quieres un bajo de aspecto elegante, obtén v7.
