Many of the half-timbered houses are very reminiscent of the old houses in Denmark, but I would say that it reminds me of a mixture of American and Danish building style... And another thing I would like to be allowed to add because a lot of people think Denmark is one of the world's smallest countries, but Denmark is actually one of the largest countries since Greenland and the Faroe Islands are Danish!

It goes for the look of old Denmark and not how it looks like now, im sure it got some inspiration from "Den Gamle By".
