their two voices meshed very well together. one wonders if they had been able to keep it together if they would have had more number ones. i think so. when i worked in college radio, i started on overnights. the first overnight i prepared a new feature called "3am spotlight" and i played an hour of their combined music but focused on 'crazy people's right to speak.'i then used 'rivers' as the background theme for my show for quite a while.
Such funny dudes, and a good lighthearted interview, that brings out their humour. Seems Nick has not given up on his need for swinging blond bits of hair, but now he has plaits not rasta. I was terrified of him as a kid as I thought he was a dreadlocked ghost lol! As for their appearance well they are pop stars, I think it's better than the Rick Astley/Justin Bieber/Ed Sheeran bloke on the, street look, at least they are individuals.
Also the fact they didn't split in 83, And went on without Limahl and had other hit singles + albums-FAIL My cousin was not a fan of them but knew this as it was everywhere
