- Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi addressed several issues related to Manipur on Tuesday, notably highlighting a topic that has been at the center of the ongoing debate surrounding the Manipur crisis. He said that false narratives must not be allowed to be built up in Manipur, as they have fueled the violence. He also dismissed the 900 infiltrators an drone bombs as being false narratives. He also addressed the Myanmar spillover and said instability there is aggravating the refugee crisis in Mizoram and Manipur, however he did mention that most of the refugees just come seeking shelter and come unarmed. 3. Why did the AR allow the illegal entry of immigrants for so long?

Here, the Chief of Army's false narratives do not refer to anyone of the community alone. He refers to the false narratives among the Zo-Kuki and Meiteis. They have been living in the neighborhood for almost time immemorial. The crisis broke out just immediately after some false rumors, the heads of the community should meet and held a talking, so that peace will prevail again. If this cannot be done as of now, the next generations will. Life is too short for hatred. Peace cannot be kept by force, it can only be achieved by understanding.

1. First was the false or rather disinformation of Angli-kuki memorial burnt. Which all know wasnt and may be some other tribes not included in the umbrella term of kuki could have easily burn those two tyres.
2. Just after few days, the naraitve fliated was Majority meitei Vs minority kukis, which if u see the epicentre of violence in Ccp where kukis are majority.
3. Next false narative was Chritian Vs Hindu, but here Naga Chritians were not involved. And meitei Christian churches were also burnt by kukis in their dominated area.
4. Then later it turns into ethnic violence which i think were drag as collateral as minor tribes were coerced into umbrella term of kukis and said meitei and other Indian will only understand the binary narratives of Naga and kuki in hills.
All these are kuki narratives but if u talk about narratives from meitei, drone bombing comes from reliant source of police, as like 900 infiltrants through proper press conference. Poppy cultivation and drug problems are known to all can not be refuted. Illegal immigrants are also government sources, though modest listing of how many immigrants but its a reality to Manipur.
