While you have the headlamp off, the biggest single improvement you can make is to wash out the inside of the lense and the reflector. You will be astounded at how much muck comes out and how much difference it makes to the light on the road. Take an old tooth brush and bend the handle 90 deg by heating it and some warm soapy water is all you need. You'd think a dab of grease was expensive! Previous owner Mr. K Kong, not an electrician?
