Good coverage but as I'm listening I'm noticing some false information. The auto fire can be switched to manual firing in the options menu. There's a skill That increases your reload speed in the agility tree, And yes you can re-spec. But yeah, Shotguns are shit.
I like how you took the time to give the game a full review even if it's only a mobile release. Wish more channels would do this rather than the soulless "EDM + some random gameplay footage" format
The only issue I have with this game are the armor paint jobs. You buy a paint bucket for you armor and use it, only to get better armor so you wind up scrapping the armor with the paint job on it. I wish they’d make paint jobs that carried over your new armor pieces.
This game totally surprised me. I connected my xbox controller to my phone & hooked up a monitor/Tv to my phone (via Samsung DEX) and I'm hooked. Loving it!

About the casino, though, I don't think disguising the gambling mechanic was what made it illegal, just like if I killed someone while cosplaying would not make the cosplaying a crime. I'd prosecuted for the murder still, and the cosplaying would probably be reviewed as a possible attempt at covering up the crime. If I simply murdered someone, it would still be a crime, just a more straight forward one, which is the equivalent of having a casino in a video game without any subterfuge.
When you played it on your phone a bit, how was it on battery life or did it overheat? I'm assuming it consumes a lot. Also I guess it supports most mobile gaming controllers? Nice video as always man. Edit: I'm asking because since this is a mobile game, I might actually get this.

Madfinger got a lot of ear ringing about the lack of co-op/PvP after Shadowgun (SG1 had a lil touch of PvP) and Dead Trigger 1 & 2 didn't have any at all let alone an MMO style gaming experience --they're progressing and that's proof that they listen to their audience (which is mostly adults). SGL looks really good; now, they need to do a Dead Trigger Legends with the MMO touch --they shooters are all established and well done mechanically mostly and they're good at zombie smashers too. Good review.

Do Unkilled, another one of Madfinger's games. It's pretty fun and getting stuff like weapons and characters doesn't feel P2W at all. I've actually gotten almost all weapons just by playing through the missions. Only weapons available for real money are the weapons from the Dead Trigger series.
Honestly watching your video, I really appreciate Madfinger's effort into making the game. The (minor) issue that I have is that the tone doesn't fit the general lore at all. The original Shadowgun and the original multiplayer Deadzone mode sets an extremely dark gritty, dieselpunk tone where megacorps, androids and aliens rule the galaxy. Legends on the other hand ramp up the fantasy and scifi aspect and definitely more cheerful colorful tone to the point I cannot tell that these games take place in the same universe (take Slade for example) The only similarity between the 2 is the super edgy humor

Shadowgun legends is actually way better than cod mobile and I have some reasons why. 1. The space it takes up is less than cod 2. It has good graphics 3. IT DOESNT MAKE YOU DOWNLOAD ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR THE ACTUAL GAME
Definitely worth my time. I'm not a console player, and never played Destiny, so this game has been great for me. BUT, yes, shotguns are garbage- and the higher difficulty Arena mode is pretty fun actually.
Its kind of a grind till lvl 20. But once you are lvl 20 you gain epic armor like a badass. I havent gotten any legendary armor which is what im trying to grind for. But the game is very fun. Ive played back in beta and they have made some amzing improvments.

I was playing Dead Trigger 1 & 2 for a looong time, before i found out that it's a czech game. Which is funny, because i'm czech and i'm gaming a lot, but the fact that my favourite games like Space Engineers, Factorio, Dead Trigger were czech products eluded me completely. I knew about the first Mafia, Arma series and Kingdom Come though... Soo, i was playing Dead Trigger for a long time, before i decided to try Shadowgun Legends as well. I bought a new phone, so i was checking out various games, downloaded Shadowgun and wow i was really impressed. It's really something. The graphics is awesome, and it's fast at the same time, the controls are responsive, it's great. What i don't like is the freemium model. It's pissing me off immensely that gamers had the ability to stop the rise of microtransactions if they had a bit of discipline. But they did not, and now there are microtransactions not only in the mobile games, but in AAA titles on PC as well for crying out loud. Consumers are idiots, therefore we're heading to a point, where people will have to pay for the game itself, then for the items in it, and then even for time spent in the game. Just because people are incapable of saying NO. Nvm, enough crying over spilled milk. The game is great.

There are some things you omitted in this review: 1/ There are many bugs, including numerous cases of server problems at MFG's (MadFinger Games) end, causing games to drop. This is usually caused by having no "leader migration" in this game. 2/ Hardware controller support is poor. Only the Steelseries Straxus, and a handful of other controllers are supported in this game (for both iOS and Android), with extremely popular controllers (like the Moga Pro Power) only partially supported. Basically, all butoons work, except the L2/R2 buttons (which control "fire/aim weapon" respectively. The in-built button-mapping is broken, too. This is very dissapointing as almost every other game on Android supports most HID controllers (including the Moga Pro Power, which has an HID mode). 3/ Nvidia Shield TV is not fully supported. Considering that the Nvidia Shield TV is featured heavily in the billboards at the Hub area of this game, you would be mistaken in belivieving that MFG fully supported it. However, redeemable codes (sent by Madfinger via email, which can be opened up via a sideloaded browser/email app), in-game chat (even though the Shield TV has a MIC BUILT INTO THE CONTROLLER) and the advert gambling machines (which DON"T give loot box keys from my observations) don't work on the Shield TV. In-game text chat does work, but it's a pain using the internal software keyboard. Hacking puzzles are also difficult, due to MFG's inconsistent GUI, where either the dpad, or analogue joysticks will either be used as a mouse cursor or a button movement. In the case of puzzles, a mouse cursor will be used, which is too slow for some puzzle time-limits. 4/ Loot boxes. Actually, unless you drop the loot boxes in the mission you get them in (which isn't clearly stated by MFG) by pressing the start/menu button, you CANNOt remome them from your inventory when you return to the hub. I have emailed MFGs about this and they are aware of it. If this is still a problem for new players, it is obvious MFG are doing this to coerce players into buying an "gold pack" (which opens the inventory up to more spaces and allows you to buy keys to make the loot boxes go away). This is inexcusable. 5/ Paint. Currently, all cosmetic items are reuseable in this game EXCEPT paint. You cannot test out paint combinations of paint you have won or bought and it is one use, one item only. Coupled with the constant need to get new levels of armour and weapons, you will see even most hardcore or "whale" players looking like a bag of Skittles, due to not wanting to pay money for one-use paint on items they might replace soon after. This is a big problem for MFG, as the "sims" aspect of cosmetic items is the main way they have monetised their game.
There's probably still some out there, but I can understand why simple games seem to make more money and take way less effort so it doesn't make much business sense to pour a lot into something like this.

Its a F2P MMO though it hasn't been released yet in the States if you were to use a VPN you could check it out. The Indonesian version has an English language setting. Or, why not check MOBAs such as Arena Of Valor and/or Vainglory. Both are the best in their class for mobile if you ask me.

I play the game on an iphone 5s and about half an hour to 45 min of play takes my battery from full charge around 75 to 80%

Only the Steelseries Straxus, and a handful of other controllers are supported in this game (for both iOS and Android), with extremely popular controllers (like the Moga Pro Power) only partially supported. Basically, all butoons work, except the L2/R2 buttons (which control "fire/aim weapon" respectively. The in-built button-mapping is broken, too. This is very dissapointing as almost every other game on Android supports most HID controllers (including the Moga Pro Power, which has an HID mode).
3/ Nvidia Shield TV is not fully supported. Considering that the Nvidia Shield TV is featured heavily in the billboards at the Hub area of this game, you would be mistaken in belivieving that MFG fully supported it. However, redeemable codes (sent by Madfinger via email, which can be opened up via a sideloaded browser/email app), in-game chat (even though the Shield TV has a MIC BUILT INTO THE CONTROLLER) and the advert gambling machines (which DON"T give loot box keys from my observations) don't work on the Shield TV. In-game text chat does work, but it's a pain using the internal software keyboard. Hacking puzzles are also difficult, due to MFG's inconsistent GUI, where either the dpad, or analogue joysticks will either be used as a mouse cursor or a button movement. In the case of puzzles, a mouse cursor will be used, which is too slow for some puzzle time-limits.
4/ Loot boxes. Actually, unless you drop the loot boxes in the mission you get them in (which isn't clearly stated by MFG) by pressing the start/menu button, you CANNOt remome them from your inventory when you return to the hub. I have emailed MFGs about this and they are aware of it. If this is still a problem for new players, it is obvious MFG are doing this to coerce players into buying an "gold pack" (which opens the inventory up to more spaces and allows you to buy keys to make the loot boxes go away). This is inexcusable.
5/ Paint. Currently, all cosmetic items are reuseable in this game EXCEPT paint. You cannot test out paint combinations of paint you have won or bought and it is one use, one item only. Coupled with the constant need to get new levels of armour and weapons, you will see even most hardcore or "whale" players looking like a bag of Skittles, due to not wanting to pay money for one-use paint on items they might replace soon after. This is a big problem for MFG, as the "sims" aspect of cosmetic items is the main way they have monetised their game.

What I'm surprised is that they stopped making these high graphics games for phones.
There's probably still some out there, but I can understand why simple games seem to make more money and take way less effort so it doesn't make much business sense to pour a lot into something like this.

Its a F2P MMO though it hasn't been released yet in the States if you were to use a VPN you could check it out. The Indonesian version has an English language setting. Or, why not check MOBAs such as Arena Of Valor and/or Vainglory. Both are the best in their class for mobile if you ask me.
