Excellent "live action" video and tutorial all rolled into one. The only way it could have been any better is if I had been with you fishing the other side of the boat. Many thanks!
Dang it! I was gonna make the run over there yesterday for that exact reason, but me and my grandpa were on spades at York spit light and chasing some smaller cobia and schools of blues busting on bait, so we never did. Thankfully we didn’t because towards the end of the day we started having problems with the shifter cable and had to head in before we hit the light tower. Maybe once the new cable gets put in, the flounder will still be out there. Anyways great video Jesse!
I flounder fished for 10 years straight through the late 90's through the early 2000's and bluefish was hands down the best cut bait. Biggest fish was a 10.13 behind the second
Great video glad to see you catching some nice flounder, still waiting for flounder season to start in NC. Quick question have you done a over view video on your boat and can I ask how much one decked out like yours would set me back. In the market.
Nice! I moved from Cape May to Beaufort SC. Flounder fishing down here is tough, compared to being father north. I catch them, but 16” is the size limit and most seem to be 12-14. Maybe I’ll drag my boat up to the Chesapeake for a long weekend. Driving back and forth while building my new home…….crossing that bridge always made me dream! There is a launch area on that fisherman island, right? Thanks. 👍
I used to be particular over such things. But after years of fishing I have found that it doesn't matter how you tie the loop. In the end a loop is a loop, and a surgeon loop is quicker and easier to tie than a dropper loop and performs the same. It's not like a fish swims up and says "Oh wait, he tied that wrong" 😂
I watched this video at least 5 times yesterday, along with a bunch of your other videos. Now I can’t get it out of my head………really nice! 👍👍👍🐟
Great video as always! Thank You for showing that rig, it seems lots of folks want to make rig tying complicated, you showed it well
Flounders love weekdays apparently! Great job!
WONDERFUL VIDEO FOR US BEGINNERS!! THANKS!

Nice when you get what you're after! Appreciate the rig detail at the end--helpful! Also, the tips re: not snagging were great!
Anything over 20 is amazing here, nice job

Damn man bluefish strips! I must try it!
Yeap, used tip our buck tails with 5 to 8 inch strips. Its mealy so doesnt last very long but 100% was always the best if we caught a few.
Sand trout works best for me
Notes taken!
Excellent video, you took them boys to school. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it

Yeah Jes, nice when ol spots are producing👊🏽
Those are some awesome fatties! Great Job! I just picked up the Accurist combo and am loving it! I jig fish about 90% of the time and its amazing!
My life twice a week thru November! Catch em up Captain!
We used to hit the sounds out of crisfield Maryland.... We used to stay at janes island and take boat from there and catch some doormats
You should get the speed handle for that reel you won't slip love the videos keepem coming
Nice Catch!!!
I’m not sure where your catching 20” flounder at all day but I can say for sure, I’m fishing the wrong waters. Excellent video.
ME TOO
Nice catching!
great video man!

Love the new boat
pretty work!!
Hey Jesse! Have you seen the power handle that Jigging World makes for the Accurist reel? It’s a huge improvement over the factory handle.
Nice work !! 💪
Was wondering what shades you're wearing?😎 Are they polarized?
Watching you catch flounder makes me hungry. 😬
How did you hook your mullet?
Good stuff man.
You found a good spot brotha 🤙🏾
🤙
Is that the bay bridge & tunnel
Yes
Where to buy the Live bait?
Man nj has been rough this year I’ve had days where I go out for 6 hours and catch 1 or 2 shorts
Founder fishing has been so hard this year in Maryland, if you can't get them at day break in shore then they can't be caught
Is this Panama City Beach?
No chesapeake bay
In this are you going up to the bridge, then drifting?
Never mind, thanks for the breakdown at the end!!
Yes that is what I was doing
Hey bud - looks like you're running the leader through the wrong end of the hook. That's your reason for missing so many. Great video keepem coming!
Thanks for the tip
Where are you located?
Good job man very nice! Yummy!
wish I lived on that bay.. I'd be crabbin' everyday :)
The crab population here has really declined... Its sad really
@@SouthernReelsFishing WOW! that is sad!
You need a power handle on that reel
Flounder limit? What's that? jk I live in NC
That is not dropper loop...but a surgeon's loop
Yes you are correct but it’s still a dropper/bottom rig. I prefer dropper loops over surgeons loops for any type of fish.
If your knick name isn't "Flounder" or"Flat Fish", I don't know why.😅
Lol that's good. I wish that was my knick name lol
Of course, he doesn't mention the spot he's at, thumbs down...
