I think you have to understand, Koreans are very comfy w/ anyone. We get physical because that's just how our culture raised us. Hugging is a normal thing in Korea. We have no definition of personal space.
Dr. Music out of curiosity because I know there are shippers in Korea too, what do they consider to be 'romantic' or 'bromantic' over there? If touching is no big deal then what IS a big deal?
Hi, so sorry for replying so late! I had many close friends that need physical contact (e.g hugging, kissing, hand-holding, etc). However, since Koreans are romantic (or try their best to be) they would at least make a public announcement and/or are seen as. (Sorry if I can't explain this well). Showing affection publicly is nothing new in Korea and since our culture revolves around 'inappropriate actions', some actions may seem irrelevant. An example of and 'inappropriate action' may be butt-slapping (to show that they are cute, however, this is normally done by elders/older people), etc.
