@@jakisaur I don't think any of the other Palace rulers made me as angry. But to be fair he had the longest lead up before the actual Palace infiltration started. The game takes it's time after all to introduce everything and to get to know the maincast. Plenty of time to be horrible.

I would strongly recommend giving Person 3 & 4 a shot as well, they're both great games as well (I'd recommend either the PSP remake or the FES version of P3, and the "Golden" version of P4). Just....beware of the first two games, they haven't really aged very well, and the first game's final boss...."Nightmare Fuel" doesn't even begin describe how disturbing it is....that thing came in second place on joshscorcher and the Autarch of Flame's "Top 10 Most Disturbing Bosses from Non-Horror Games" list for a damn good reason, as they even broke their normal rule of having to play the game in question before they can put it on one of their lists specifically for that particular boss, it's literally *THAT* disturbing. Also, if you're not averse to some some *very* dark subject matter, you will probably enjoy the Shin Megami Tensei games (just be aware that Shin Megami Tensei covers some things that are so dark that it makes Persona's darkest moments look like a walk in the park by comparison) as well, since the Persona games are actually a spin-off series that originated from Shin Megami Tensei....Persona literally wouldn't even *exist* without SMT having first paved the way. Where a Persona game might involve a plot where you are fighting to prevent the end of the world, SMT often has you playing through a post-apocalyptic version of Earth that has already been destroyed. Most SMT villains also make even P5's villains look tame by comparison. SMT V being the most recent SMT game might be the best entry point for you if you're interested (like the Persona games, each one is it's own standalone story unless they are actual sequels or parallel stories [such as SMT IV & SMT IV: Apocalypse], so you do not have to play any of the earlier games to understand or enjoy the later games), and SMT V is a superb game that also has some good DLC stuff to get into (including new demons), including the "Return of the True Demon" DLC which culminates in a fight against the most infamously difficult recurring superboss in all of SMT (unless you play on the Safety difficulty, it's pretty much impossible to beat that boss without dying at least a few times first). That DLC also brings back some of the most dreaded demons in the franchise: the Fiends (who all share a unique boss theme that strikes fear into even franchise veterans, known simply as the "Fiend Theme"). Seriously, anytime a series veteran in playing and they unexpectedly hear the Fiend theme start playing, it's pretty much guaranteed to result in an "Oh Shit!" reaction.

39 hours into P5 royal. My 1st experience with a Persona game. Im blown away!!! And addicted.
