I try to wind down to GG videos at night before I fall asleep, so even the seemingly mundane, regular ol United States GeoGuesser will always get a click from me. The play along, slow paced nature is what I love, personally.
Wow, so many exciting changes! Refocusing the main channel on less frequent + higher effort content will definitely pay off. A win for you is a win for everyone, as you'll be able to reinvest into the CG media empire even further. Counting down the days until there's enough of us to get some Big beef cow plushes released into the world!
Speaking of less frequent...are you gonna upload sometime soon? I really enjoyed the GeoFrauds series!

Super excited for the future of the channel! I love both the Geography fact and Geoguessr vids, but can understand why the geography fact vids would reach a broader audience. I’m not sure how the travel vlogs compare in the statistics to the other videos, but I just wanted to mention that I really enjoy those videos and they definitely help build a stronger connection to your audience since it’s fun to see IRL content and get to know you a bit better. I’ve also been enjoying your casting at the World Cup Regionals, I hope you keep getting more opportunities for that sort of thing. Keep up the great work!
GeoWizard has run into this issue a couple times and made similar videos to this. More people tune into his exploration/adventure videos but he has a dedicated GeoGuessr fanbase. I think you should keep doing both!

Glad to hear the GeoGuessr videos aren’t going away! I enjoy both Geography and GeoGuessr content but I definitely watch the GeoGuessr ones more (except speed runs, I hate speed runs lol). Some of my favorite videos are the random maps videos so I hope you don’t do away with the concept all together.

Nice. I of course subscribed your second channel. I want to tell you that I'm on many Discord servers and your server has a specially nice community. One of the best in the GeoGuessr and geography geek genre.
I really enjoy both types of content, however I was drawn to your channel through the longer, fact driven videos. Keep it up man, I love watching these vids!
Definitely take your time with researching the geofacts videos.
There's a lot of mediocre geography content on RUclips -cursory research, over-reliance on Wikipedia or other online sources, regurgitation of what other people said.
A lot of valuable info is in the realm of academia but is difficult to access, and is hard for those professors/academicians to disseminate.

I'm trying to join you community on Discord as I really enjoy geography. It's my first time ever using discord. But while creating an account it says that my email is already registered so I can't claim the account. How do you fix that?
Off-topic but do you feel like it's appropriate that "People for Bikes" gives Chicago a score of 9/100 for bicyclists? For comparison, my city of Fort Smith, Arkansas is 7/100 and our urban landscape is basically suburban spaghetti.
@@AndyInTheFort I visited Fort Smith a couple months ago and I’m in Chicago rn. Chicago has way more bike infrastructure, there’s no comparison.

Personally, as a boomer, I like quirky GG games and geographyfacts. Only have YT. How did it go with the canadian bollard? That was really fun!
