They look so cute and adorable!!!! You always make creative and beautiful things!!! I'm definitely going to make them and make it for a Christmas present!!!
So cute!! I made one similar to the scrapbook paper one, but I used thin ribbon instead. I used a small star topper from the mini Christmas tree section at Hobby Lobby to put on top!
These are so cute! Love both of the trees. With the candle stick holder I'll fill in that space where the candle should be, with glitter then put the tree on top :)
I made some similar although I used plastic spoons. cut them off at the base of the neck first. Spray-paint them whatever color you like and then glue them onto a Styrofoam cone..when done glue to a candlestick holder and voila...A bit of glitter paint looks great on them too ...Try it...
***** just wondering... if you would have folded the scrap booking paper in half and then cut on the fold up to about 1/4 of an inch before the end of the paper.... would that make a band of "loops" so to speak... it would make it much quicker if you were on a time crunch or were trying to make a lot of them at once!
I was totally thinking the same thing, we made xmas decorations like this when we were kids, fold the paper in half and cut 1/2 or 1/4 inch slots but dont cut them all the way, then wrap it around,...... may be hard to visualize but i do agree with the above note!
If you were planning on making this maybe try cutting different lengths of the strips verses her 6" strips so that the lengths go up so it still has the tree shape.. I hope that makes sense.
amazing ideas! now I just have to find those styrofoam cones! would it also work if I cut out triangle forms instead of circles for the felt one?? greetings from germany :)
Hi Kayli....awesome Christmas tree/project! As an added spice to this project you could also use a hot glue gun or the glue you used to glue "ornaments" and other décor onto the tree. Maybe using fake plastic jewels from the craft store and buttons or whatever else you find to decorate it. Maybe even some of the push pins you used and let them show as lights or ornament balls. That would make a already cute project, even cuter, don't you think? :)
I agree with Michelle. Leave a continuous edge on the scrapbook paper, so much less time consuming. You would have to measure each layer separately. Also FYI, they are not needles, they are pins. =)
I love you so much idk if u remember but u tweeted me about your craving for donuts!! I look forward to Mondays just 2 watch your vids can't wait to see baby butler!! Ily!! Xx
I think ribbons would be a good and less tedious alternative instead of the scrapbook paper. I'm not a crafty person at all, but there's always a lazier way to do things. ;) Just a thought!
My daughter made these for Christmas. Now I know where she got the idea. Nice!!
Nice nail color. I Loved watching you enjoy making em. Thank-you for sharing. The felt ones look good in groupin colors like u had.

I have an idea for the felt christmas tree! If you stick in those coloured top needles around the tree, it will look like lights and ball ornaments :P
I did something similar to these a couple of years ago, but I used vintage lace and rickrack trim =)
I wonder if you could use a sizzix roller press to make the felt circles or a paper punch
Love the idea so cute
Your scarf is so cute!!
Your So Creative Omg !!!!
Have you tried the Styrofoam glue at Michael's? I work at Michael's and know we have, just not sure how well it works. Love the idea!

Would u mind if I use the felt Christmas tree idea with a few changes on my channel

The felt ones are so cute lol I might make one =]
E-6000 actually melts the styrofoam, so I suggest using a hot glue gun. Also the cones and the candle sticks can be found at the dollar tree :)

Your hair looks gorgeous:)
U make my gift AWSOME I don't know how my life would turn out
You should do more pregnancy vlogs, I think everyone wants more!!💕💕
I think ribbons would be a good and less tedious alternative instead of the scrapbook paper. I'm not a crafty person at all, but there's always a lazier way to do things. ;) Just a thought!
