Great catch man!! Nothing beats Pompano from the surf! Love the video it was very calming. Love the Breakaway rods and especially the Pompano Rigs. My favorite for sure.
Pompano were running great on Thanksgiving at San Luis Pass, your local waters. Nothing close to 18”, but it was great. The rest of the weekend the surf was really rough so just some whiting running. Thank you Carlos for your channel! My surf fishing has improved a 100% thanks to you!
Nice pomps. I enjoy your attitude on the internet babies, funny af. Stay Elite lol. Oh by the way the kid wearing the waders is cute as heck. Never seen waders that small before 😅
I fished there many years ago in August. We caught at least 30 fish one morning as the shrimp boats left Port Isabel in the predawn. Ladyfish, trout, puppy drum, whiting etc. Good time
@@BeachBomberFishing The discount season is here and I really wanted to order a Fathom, but I was not sure it would fit the Ballista. All I have are breakaway rods, they are awesome.
I'm here sipping my coffee hangover watching the best got damn channel 😁😁😁😁😁😁 so nice, man. Super beautiful Super lucky to enjoy good water here Keep up the good work man Share info Help us keep fishing 💯🤘🤘🤘
Ey some years back I was fishing alone Wearing slides near the packery channel boat ramp and slipped...I panicked and tried to grab on to the barnacle covered bricks to stop from sliding into the channel....I had cuts and gashes on like 9 fingers and had to bandage them alone 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Driving and fishing like Edward Scissor hands 😆😆😆
Was that beach access #4? My daughter and I caught are first pompanos last week a few mile north of beach access #6. As for Tides4Fishing, you are right that it is unreliable. We have gotten skunked more often than not on the high feeding periods.
Ouch!@@BeachBomberFishing Had a similar situation with a sheepshead. Dorsal spine went through my hand a couple of months ago and got infected. Fish on brother!

Nice job. Enjoyed the video and thanks
Thanks for watching man!
Way to go Carlos, watching get fish helps my healing. Keep it up.
Nice catch! There's great fishing always there at SPI 🤙🏽. I would be like woah too. Great vid like always .
Very nice pompano! They've been catching some at the jetty too. The Omega rod is one of my favorites for the surf.
Just tried out the Breakaway cannon this weekend and love it. Thanks for the recommendation, love your videos!
Cool to see nick on your video he’s an awesome guy !

Next time you come down.. you should go to east cut.. it was on fire in October.. should still be good. 👍
Fantastic 👍👍
Bravo man👏🏻
Did you try pairing the Ballista with a Penn Fathom or a Squall? I remember you had trouble pairing them with the HDX.
Nah man, that reel foot was too small for a size 26 reel sear. I'm sure it would fit on the ballista though.

Man, that rough!! Hand injuries are a pain
@BeachBomberFishing yeah especially because you need your hands everyday 😆
@BeachBomberFishing yeah and it was like at 5am super dark and there I am with no one around as I'm sliding into the channel
Crazy
Hell yeah already know its gonna be a good one 👍🏻

I can’t believe I caught Pompano on Assateague island. It was authentic too because I also caught Jacks. I thought they stayed below VA beach.
Nice fishing bro
Your living life Brother 💯💪🙏
Do you have any tips on casting gar from the beach with small conventional setups
Sounds like a great video idea!
Hey Carlos can you do a vid on casting conventional reels without magnetic breaks
What happened to your finger? Fishing injury?
Got pinched by a crab and got infected lol
Ouch!@@BeachBomberFishing Had a similar situation with a sheepshead. Dorsal spine went through my hand a couple of months ago and got infected. Fish on brother!
Hell yea!!! Let’s get some more PB’s!!!
This is one of my favorite fishing spots. I caught a nice red there 2 weeks ago though my goal was to catch a pompano.
It’s 18 like you said bro, hell yeah, keep catching and keep the finger dry 🎣
Thanks man, I appreciate all the support.
Hey I’ve been looking for a conventional rod that’s 10 ft that can cast atleast 8 oz. Any suggestions?
You should link up with this guy in Florida the sinker guy has the best fishing weights and premade pompon Riggs
🔥🔥
🔥
You should try gaymans next time you come out it’s on highway 48
Try boca Chica Beach bro
And if you want a good pompano and whiting rod look at the over the bar 13foot
It's not winter.
