this is not the original song version. Historically, the administrative governing palace of the NGUYEN's dynasty was set in HUE in the central VN. Its capital city was also in HUE not HANOI. The custom, culture, people, and landmarks filmed in this clip belonged to HANOI in the Northern of Vietnam. It's terribly a big mistake to use wrong images to illustrate such important song of the Vietnam history or vice versa. .
The opening part of the video (Modern Video in Color), is a film about the Nguyen Dynasty filmed in Hue. As for the rest, I have included a short clip about Hue (no color), but most of the colorless videos in the latter part are from Hanoi, because in the previous part I showed royal life in Hue. , now I should show everyone the life of the common people (There are many videos about the old life in Hanoi) As for the music, thanks for telling me it wasn't an oringinal. And thank you so much for taking the time to comment and watch my video
I just want to say that in the North (Hanoi), central (Hue - Nguyens dynasty capital), and South (Saigon), people always prefer wearing Vietphuc (shown in the color movie) as a thing very traditional and fancy. All Vietnamese people in every part of the country love this custom not just a part of land.
@@thinhgianguyen3520 Sadly, Saigon doesn't exist anymore. Now it bears the name of one of the most complicated Revolutionaries: Ho Chi Minh. I may not like Communism, but I understand why Ho Chi Minh chose that path. I understand why he made Vietnam Communist. Of all the Communist countries that ever existed, I think Vietnam might actually be the best off, probably after China.

I always wonder, why did Vietnam fall to Communism so easily, when the songs it had are so amazing? The lyrics may be too closely translated, but the words and the music itself are some of the best in East Asia itself. I know Vietnam is SE Asia, but it's better than the anthems of China, Japan, and Korea put together.
In fact, the French forced Vietnam to choose that path. Well, Ho Chi Minh and King Bao Dai used to ask for help from the US and the Allies, and no one help. Well, the Japanese and Chinese were no less as the Vietnamese patriots tried to learn from them and they betrayed the Vietnamese patriots. Especially the Americans refused to recognize the Nguyen Dynasty of Vietnam's independence in 1945, if Vietnam did nothing, the French would return again. So yeah, Ho Chi Minh has to do something for his country. And who is the superpower behind the US? Soviet Union, and with socialism, it's the only option when you are forced by the US and the Allies.
@@E.Scarlett.K What you just said is true, but I don't believe Communism was the only option. The Soviet Union could have just pulled out of Vietnam at the same time as the United States, and that would have allowed it not to fall to Communism.
@@mikeor- That's true, but there was no other choice at that time. I mean patriots with great ideals and ideologies have been betrayed or the organization dissolved. The Communist Party of Vietnam at that time was not supported by the Soviet Union and Communism China until they took control of the government, then China recognized it and later the Soviet Union. Well, my great-grandfather was a member of the Nationalist Party of Vietnam, he was betrayed by Japan and the Republic of China, he later joined the Democratic Party of Vietnam, and work together with the Communist Party of Vietnam, In his recollections, communism was a vague thing, but he accepted it anyway because the greatest Vietnamese revolutionary of the 20th Century, Nguyen An Ninh, accepted it. So yeah.
@@mikeor- In general, the Communist Party of Vietnam is not really bad, my mother's family was saved from hunger and poverty. Especially the money that communist countries provided to North Vietnam, most of it was used for the people, well, even so, I don't agree that the Communist Party of Vietnam is really perfect, because they made a lot of mistakes during the early Vietnam war, I still forgave them for their quick correction.
@@mikeor- So yeah, you right and I'm glad someone understands the situation better like you, I mean a lot of people who love Vietnam are always defending communism, and people who love Vietnam but have negative actions say it's a crime. Well, you're probably one of the only people I know who is the most neutral and so nice to me, even my comment look toxic :(
