    Thanks for the video. Curious, could you get a good idea of the legroom for the bulkhead seats in Comfort + on this flight?
    Would you have selected bulkhead? Sometimes it’s a little too cramped for me on domestic flights.

    • @TrizityTraveling
      @TrizityTraveling  5 лет назад +2

      I didn't get a good look at the bulkhead row, sorry. I generally don't go for the bulkhead since there isn't any floor storage and I've had a couple that really are cramped. It seems to vary among the various aircraft. You might check seatguru.com - they may have some data for you. Good luck!

    I flew DTW to LHR, in October, a lot of the main cabon experience was already being implemented.
    Dtw to ams is the only European route that delta employs the a350 (one flight a day the other 3 are a330s)
    The rest of the a350s are for Asia.

    • @TrizityTraveling

    I got an upgrade to Comfort plus for my trip from DTW to India , picked the 30A both ways from DTW to AMS so I have nobody in front and can lean into the window seat to sleep. Upgrade cost 12,500 miles each way. Unfortunately the connecting partner airline KLM from AMS to BOM does not offer any upgrade with Delta skymiles that i know of. Pity , cos it's an 8+ hr flight too. Any tips for KLM connections?

    • @TrizityTraveling
      @TrizityTraveling  Год назад +1

      That's awesome that you were able to get an upgrade and have a comfortable seat for your long flight! It's always nice to have some extra legroom and the ability to lean into the window. As for the KLM connection, unfortunately, I don't have any specific tips since I've only 1 KLM flight in my history, but I hope it goes smoothly for you!

    What was your hand luggage allowance ?

    • @TrizityTraveling
      @TrizityTraveling  5 лет назад +1

      I only had a backpack, but I think you could have one carry-on (most people have a roll-aboard suitcase for this) and a personal item. I think the personal item must be able to fit under the seat in front of you.

    I travel from St. Louis to London every year. Booked for Feb. 2023. So tired of economy class so I switched to Comfort Plus for this trip. But first row behind business/first class on all flights. Boeing 767 to Heathrow and Airbus A330 on return. I actually prefer the A330 seats for some reason. And yes, I am fairly impressed with Delta's food on international flights. But I always got a hot cloth towel toward end of flight. Wonder why you got paper?

    Just booked an international flight with a comfort plus seat for Christmas for the first time. The seats and headrests look comfortable enough, did you have any comments on comfort, including angle of incline? You mentioned being able to sleep for 4 hours which isn't bad!

    • @TrizityTraveling

    • @TrizityTraveling
      @TrizityTraveling  2 года назад +1

      Gosh, I'm not really sure...I seem to recall it being a normal window, but the A330 doesn't really have all that big of windows, IMO. Not like the A350 or dreamliner. I don't think its a peephole though. Have a great trip!

      We took off from Minneapolis around 8pm. I've gotten at least one meal on every international flight I've taken, regardless of the departure time.
      If you check your reservation trip details at Delta.com it will indicate in the trip details what food to expect: meal, snack, etc. When in doubt, I've had good luck reaching out to the airlines on twitter, and they all have 800 numbers to call as well.

    • @TrizityTraveling
      @TrizityTraveling  9 месяцев назад

      I try to avoid that, I'm a bit paranoid, and I'm usually carrying expensive camera gear. I'd rather not have someone tossing my bag around trying to squeeze their oversized bag in on top of my camera bag. Either under the seat or right above me.

    Have you been generally happy with your GF meals on Delta? I've only tried it on one round trip flight. Business class meal was horrible while the main class was wonderful. Trying to figure out whether to take my chances on a premium select to Europe.

    • @TrizityTraveling
      @TrizityTraveling  4 года назад

      I've generally been happy with them. They've gotten a bit repetitious with all the domestic first I've flown over the last few years. My GF meal in comfort plus on this particular flight was really good. As I said in the trip report, it didn't look good, I would take it again. I can't grade an international business or premium select meal - haven't had that yet...Unfortunate how things happen sometimes, I was planning on a business select flight to South Korea this April but I've put it off...hopefully this virus stuff calms down and I can do that sooner rather than later.

    • @TrizityTraveling

      Not really an easy question given all the various seats available (economy, plus, first class) and various airplanes. First class is always going to be the most comfy on any airline with the comfort level decreasing as you sit further to the back.

      "Is it worth it" is a question that I can't answer for you. I've flown enough to know that the further forward I can sit the better for me. Everyone has a different value proposition...comfort plus gets you early boarding, extra legroom, pillow, blanket, and headphones. Is that worth the upgrade cost? On this flight, the upgrade only cost me $26 so an easy yes. I hope that helps!
