The counselor knew and stopped by and complemented us on how respectful we were. We chilled and even watched one episode of Family Guy.
not sure what you meant by this. spoofs obviously still exist after this movie released in 2013, the hungover games released in 2014. the walking deceased in 2015 (i had fun with this). the lego batman movie in 2017. johnny english strikes again in 2018. the teen titans go vs teen titans movie in 2019. weird: the al yankovic story in 2022. these are just the movies i watched because they either spoof an ip i like, or is shown in a theater near me, not that these are all the spoofs released recently. there are 2 reasons i can think of that make spoofs and parodies scarcer for viewers nowadays. 1, a way these movies reached a lot of people was due to people finding them randomly in blockbuster and similar stores. blockbuster closed down, and spoofs had a much harder time reaching the mainstream audience. 2, publishers like a24 and blumhouse have allowed indie filmmakers a chance to make a career out of strong, standalone stories and movies, so they gravitate away from leaning on a major ip to spoof off of. amateur to pro spoofs still exist, but less because of these reasons. and if you think it’s cus of the woke mentality or whatever, just know that south park and family guy are still airing

It would have been funny if they had the same 15 or so actors in the front row just get up and film like 20 different scenes with them in further bac rows and just splice all the scenes together. Dont even change their costumes, just position in the rows.

She said she loved the battle scenes (when Pres. Snow did something crappy, you wanted to see Katniss rip him a new one). However, she said she hated the teenage drama, particularly the love triangle between Katniss, Gale and Peta. So, is it good?
Yeah, it's a well made movie with an interesting story. And it's not some sort of entertaining martial arts fights like an 80s action movie, it's more about this bleak situation where you're forced into that situation
Hunger Games is more of a political commentary. It parodies flashy and fake modern societies and entertainment and the glorification of war. In the 1st book the two main characters only kiss during the games because they are trying to survive and gain the love of public to make it out alive, but the rich elite views them as an entertaining love story because they are incredibly out of touch w the pain of those kids The theme of mocking real life hollywood's fake and pretense culture goes on to the third book, where even their side of the war uses sponsors and planned commercials and scripted ads to try to gain the favor of the people
