Not gonna lie but recently have not been watching your content because you haven’t been doing Honda content. That’s why I started watching you in the first place. I know you don’t have to cater to one person at all, just bummed the Honda content has fell off. Would love to see yall getting back into it. You’ve always been an outstanding content creator but just not the vibe with the ls content. Other subscribers can shoot me down but I know a good amount of people feel the same. Still support the channel and will support the channel but it’s just not the content you’ve really been known for except in the last year.

The reason the transfer case has no oil is because the transfer case oil pump has rubbed on the transfer case housing and making a hole / crack on the transfer case housing. The hole usually is the bottom of the house bellybutton. And I would use red lock tie on the nuts where trans and the transfer case met up. They become loose to much vibration. Idk
That has to be the hardest way to put the trans/tcase in. I typically do them separately.
I like to do them sperate also.. never tried to install one with the transfer case attached

Seal ,transfer case.pump pull pan remove lockup Solenoid from bottom of pump trans on its back bolts out easily pry between pump and drum.to spilt pump bolts on back,put back together use real big hose clamp to Aline both halfs
I cracked a pump when I tried to mate the transmission to the motor without the torque converter fully seated. You can get a rebuild kit.
I did this with my 02 Trailblazer LS. Cracked the damn pump stater. Ordered a rebuild kit for like $30.
Dude, cement pad and a lift in the back yard. Would make for good content.

Hate to say it fellas but it could possibly be a locked up transfer case. No oil in it?!?! That would be my assertion. Pull the case back from the trans and try and spin it disconnected. If it spins than the pump isn’t the problem , and I would suspect a bad tcase. If it still doesn’t spin then it’s the transmission.
A stalling symptom is also a torque converter , I would also replace converter or you will regret it
Did you guys pull the pilot bearing out ?
If pump goes bad it will not mover the Torque converter will cause a stall and shut the gmc off

Cam bearings are pretty common in LS engines, along with overheating, crank sensor, etc. it's a chevy😂 empty your wallet😂
