Love your videos. You are excellent in explaining things - including the part where the graphics get stuck behind the background. I have had things like that happen to me before and I thought I was doing something wrong and didn't know what I was doing. Now I see it is just the nature of the software not my own shortcomings. This may sound crazy but you actually made me feel better about myself. I used to think that I just couldn't catch on and always gave up in frustration and disgust. Thank you for all you do. I feel like you have just put your arm around my shoulders and said "It's not you- it's the stupid software. Keep going- we'll work through this. Thanks again for being you.
Ha ha...what a great comment, thank you. Yes, sometimes these things need a little figuring out as they're not always clear. The software can definitely be a little clunky!!
Hi Lisa, I love all your videos, you always explain things articulately and I can always follow along easily. When I saw your upload I figured I'd ask you a question if you don't mind. You might have an answer to the problem. It's my MS word app, every time I try and work with a 3D image in a doc and I go to save, it comes up not responding. 🙃 I've worked on other docs since and inserted pictures and they saved ok. What do you think might be the issue? Thank you!!
But why... No offence, but the time you take to learn these things in word, if you use a more universal platform like Photoshop, would mean you are spending time and effort learning a tool that can help you in your future job and life? This is impressive, but you see what I mean?
Some people can't afford photoshop - particularly children and students who use these tutorials for their homework and assignments. Word is more widely available to the majority of people and is available as a free online app. Many people know that photoshop is complicated and don't have the time or desire to learn how to use it. At least using word gives people options!
@@LisaDoe Valid points. I was viewing from an opportunistic point of view. If I was to let my daughter learn a skill that would help her in the future. Is it better she adapt herself to an app that can lead her to a plethora of job opportunities, or allow her to use an existing software and use work arounds. Which is more beneficial..this is what I was thinking. Price is a valid point, but you can now get photoshop like £9.99 a month, but yeah students can get office for free. Just to be clear, what you have showcased is impressive. I was just thinking from a skill building perspective, what should one spend more time on...as time is limited
Some people don't give a flying fig about Photoshop. I have owned it and used it. If you plan on becoming a Graphic Designer for a living then yes you need it. If not then it's overkill on price and learning curve.
@@luxurycardstore that was my point, which app has future potential to spend time learning to help with a career from graphics design to even photography etc....

How to create diwali 2022 design microsoft word. Can you tell me
Afternoon Lisa, quick question? When you’re zooming in & out how are you doing that? When I try only the document zooms not the whole program….
It's the screen recording software which is zooming in and out. The only way you can do it with the software is the zoom slider at the bottom right.
Thank Lisa, love your videos by the way, very useful….
@@marnew1000 Thank you :))
