What a year. I'm such a introvert. And what a ride was 2020. Worst beginning ever. Heart broken (Neve been so low, fucking up Christmas, new year and birthday in a row. But fight for her. The kiss of reconciliation... Worth every bad things that lead me there. When you know you're loved by the women that you love and choose to build your life with. Then the pandemic. During the final stage of my studies. So no lockdown for me, working in paramedical (OT). The only one of my promo in a structure willing to take the risk. But damn, tutor was supposed to be on vacation... It felt like he wished I wasn't there every single day. And the pressure on the team (working with elders, nursing home). Plus the fear of contaminate the resident (even with the full uniform)... It was so bad I've wished to be contaminated so I wouldn't go. Plus I was living with my love so win win. Be careful what you wished for... I've been tested positive. Protective measures was respected and efficient, every resident was clear ! Might have been a false positive. Still fail the stage anyway (not validated). Thesis was coming, real fast ! I've worked like never to be on point (was late in the first place). And to replace the stage, a new paper to make ! So... I've failed. But making it to the second round (thesis + stage) ! And I was catching weired vibes from gf. Few weeks later, I graduated... she dump me though. Again, before Christmas, new year and my birthday is coming.

that man that made me cry and turn my life around in january died a few months ago. his wife is being so strong.
my mom made us such a nice dinner for valentines day.
in march i stayed in.
as i did in april.
and as i did in may.
but in june i fell asleep in your arms in an unfamiliar car, and you carried me into the house.
and in july we danced until we dropped.
In august, you went to the hospital again.
in september i stopped remembering.
and then we covered ourselves in sheets and walked around like everything would be fine.
and then the doctors gave us the news.
i still dont know how we made it through christmas.

i want to believe it will get better. but a boy from school died yesterday. and it made me cry, thinking that. that could have been you. hell, it could have been any of us.
sometimes i hate that humans love. sometimes i wonder if that type of happiness is worth the pain. but because of you, im hoping that it is.
there's so much good we could bring to our world.. i just hope we'll both be around to see it.
