For the first session, art critic and historian Bénédicte Ramade presents works made from waste. Plastic, wood, fabric, cardboard, these collections sometimes embody less an ecological thought than a desire to accumulate. Some artists, like Kurt Schwitters, make constructions out of them, others, like Hassan Sharif or El Anatsui, go so far as to magnify the object!
