    I'm thinking of getting 2 of these Kayak, one for me and one for out son and 2 of my buddies want one as well......
    For the price, I don't think no one out there can beat it for a foot peddle drive kayak!!!
    I was thinking of getting the Old Town PDL106 but that's $2600
    Hoodoo Voyager Kayak $1200 x 2 = $2400 is less than one Old Town kayak at $2600
    If I decide to just buy 1 kayak for $1200
    Hoodoo Motor $400
    Garmin Fish finder, hood & bracket is $200
    That's $1800 still less than one Old Town kayak
    Thanks for sharing

    Thanks for all your videos on this kayak, as there are not many to be found. I know it’s fairly new so that’s probably why. I’ve had the element 95 since late 2020 and so ready for an upgrade to a pedal kayak. Not wanting to go much bigger so this one is really looking perfect. Thanks again!

    Thanks for the video. I'm waiting to see more reviews like this before i pull the trigger on this kayak. I'm super appreciative you made it.
    Also, one thing that i keep seeing about Hoodoo is how great their customer service is, and i bet if you send them a message, they would send that side handle that cracked for free.

      I bet they would, but keep forgetting too and not all that concerned about it!!! You should go with it, I was skeptical as well but glad I did!!!

    Great video. I'm looking for a pedal kayak and fish frequently from my paddle Perception Pescador Pro. I love how my 2 Perceptions track. Im 5ft2 and need something I can car top and reach the pedals lol. This kayak looks to fit the bill. How does it track and cut through the water? Is it nimble for rivers and smaller lakes? I go on Lake Erie frequently (when she cooperates). I've had a kayak that was sluggish and didn't track well and do not want to repeat. Thanks so much!

      Thanks for watching, I haven't had many high end kayaks but it tracks better than my old lifetime, I hear if you add the upgraded boo dox rudder to this kayak it makes it much better. I don't have any issues with it, my wife is 5'4" and fit in it perfectly. With seat, pedals taken off its easy to load on top of a car. It's easy to pedal around, I average 3-4 at a moderate pace and I'm no.track star....lol I'm sure you'd really like it..... If you have any more ?'s you may visit the hoodoo owners club on FB... Lots of very knowledgeable owners on there

    I'm looking into purchasing this kayak but have a few questions if you wouldn't mind answering.
    Many of the areas I fish have lots of debris in the water. Does the rudder stick out under the kayak or is it fairly flush with the bottom?
    Also are you able to stand on this kayak or is it too unstable?
    Thank you in advance I love your videos.

      Thanks for the support... Yea the rudder is flush with the body and it is plenty stable to stand, I'm 6'3" and 180 and have no issues

    Hey Cody, I have an orange voyager as well. I made a t bar mount and mounted a 36lb trolling motor. (Video on my channel) Now im trying to get more top speed by changing the prop. Obviously, we need a 2 blade prop to fit in the center drive slot, but which 2 blade prop did you like best out of all the ones you tested?
    Thanks!

      Best one so far is the 10X5m-lh for power savings and speed. Uses 25 amps and full power compared to 35 on my 55lb thrust

    Just got mine Saturday, had it out twice did really well but the water was calm. How does does handle the wind and chop? It is easy pedaling against the current?

    • @codyakfishing8856
      @codyakfishing8856  4 месяца назад +2

      Only issue I had is some water popping over in heavy chop, other than that it pedalled just fine!!

    Do you believe the vevor ctug cart would work for this kayak? I've never had a cart for any of my kayaks and the one you have is unavailable on amazon atm

    • @codyakfishing8856
      @codyakfishing8856  2 месяца назад

      I believe it would, only issue if see is making sure the platform the kayak sits on is at least 6" or so above the wheels, I ordered another kart that didn't work at all
